WaZoBia!
Welcome to a new edition of the Hive Naija Weekly Prompts. This initiative is one of our activities to explore our creativity and foster connections amongst ourselves.
Whether you're a seasoned creator or just discovering the joy of expressing your thoughts, these prompts are crafted to inspire and ignite your creativity, as well as interact with the creativity of others in the community.
Last Edition's Winners:
What a blast this week! We had 41 of you share beautiful memories and heartfelt response with us! We appreciate every participant for taking giant strides to expand their minds with the last edition's prompts. Many were as beautiful as they came. And there are a few that we want to showcase for their exceptional entries and level of engagement in the community.
First Place
Home Sweet Home...Until the Party Calls
by @whatmidesays
For me, the indoors is my power-bank, my fortress. Give me free Wi-Fi, uninterrupted electricity, food, and I’ll become besties with my blanket. My neighbors rarely see me, and when they do, they ask, “Did you travel?”. Even my music habits scream introvert, always through a headset, never blasting out loud.
Second Place
by @love1506
Our entire world growing up as kids revolved around our rooms, parlour, toilet, bathroom and kitchen. Then we went to school, church, and my mum's place of business. There was no opportunity to play in the compound with other kids talking less of playing In the street.
Third Place
by @fashtioluwa
If I was asked this question, "Are you an indoor person or an outdoor person?" The truth is that I don't know the category I belong to. I love staying indoors, and I also love going out if invited. I was told that indoor people don't entertain the idea of going out even if invited, but I am not that kind of person. I can put a stop to a task at hand that doesn't have much priority if it means I get to go out.
Congratulations to these talented individuals for their outstanding contributions. Now, we would like mention a few other entries that we deem exceptional.
This Week's Prompts:
📝 Back to tech trends in the past: To the old apps, gadgets or any technology that was on trend years ago but not in much use or any use now. Could be a phone, a lamp, a vehicle or a media app. Share what you miss about them or if you like that they are no more in use.
📝 Kitchen hacks & habits: This would be for those who frequent the kitchen for whatever, got hacks to share? We want to have them. Your cooking habits, your grocery buying style, maybe kitchen accidents. Let's have any you'd share.
Guidelines:
- Pick a prompt, craft a masterpiece, and be unique with your title.
- Ensure your entry is at least 500 words
