Welcome to a new edition of the Hive Naija Weekly Prompts. This initiative is one of our activities to explore our creativity and foster connections amongst ourselves.
Whether you're a seasoned creator or just discovering the joy of expressing your thoughts, these prompts are crafted to inspire and ignite your creativity, as well as interact with the creativity of others in the community.
Last Edition's Winners:
What a blast this week! We had 28 of you share beautiful memories and heartfelt response with us! We appreciate every participant for taking giant strides to expand their minds with the last edition's prompts. Many were as beautiful as they came. And there are a few that we want to showcase for their exceptional entries and level of engagement in the community.

The human mind is complex, driven by a force greater than our existence. It has always been a mystery to me whenever I think of what keeps a human being going despite the challenges and hardship we experience? We are all aware of the fact that if there is one thing life is not short of it is bitter and sorrowful days. It comes in tides and every time it sweeps us off earth till we find ourselves on the ground, shattered and broken.

I want to relive those moments when my mum would buy lots and lots of books and toys for us to read and also play with. She never missed an opportunity to buy any children's book; she was a firm believer in educating young children not just in classrooms, but in every way possible, we had loads and loads of books, and our library was well stuck.
Third Place

You see, we humans are unique in our own way, and everyone, as much as we're on planet Earth, have what we truly desire, even though in most cases you see people quickly jump to conclusions at the glance of such an opportunity, saying they want wealth, either in assets or cash, and you can't necessarily blame them for that. We're all programmed to believe money is the main thing we lack and that when we have it, we can easily invest it in solving other problems we've got, but does money truly answer all things as stated by the Bible?
Congratulations to these talented individuals for their outstanding contributions. Now, we would like mention a few other entries that we deem exceptional.
This Week's Prompts:
📝 The holiday is always a good time, and we barely want it to end. While it's a must to return to school, many of us as students and parents have developed some smooth transitioning techniques to get ourselves or kids back on track. This week, we do like you to share some of these techniques with us.
📝 You woke up one morning to find out that the people you have always known as parents are not your biological parents. With your adoption documents in your hands serving as proof, what would be your next move?
Guidelines:
- Pick a prompt, craft a masterpiece, and be unique with your title.
- Ensure your entry is at least 500 words
- Use copyright-free images and properly source them; indicate if they belong to you.
