Where I would spend the holiday if money wasn't a problem.

First of all, I will be celebrating this Christmas with my family in Ibadan, Nigeria. It’s always a joy to be with loved ones during the festive season, especially in a city like Ibadan, where I feel at home. Spending time with family, sharing meals, exchanging laughter, and making memories is something I deeply cherish. However, if money or time weren’t a problem, I would absolutely love to spend my holidays in Lagos.

It has been years since I last traveled to Lagos, and even then, I didn’t have much time to explore or visit the places I truly wanted to see. Lagos, to me, is one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in Nigeria. It’s a city that never sleeps, always bustling with energy, creativity, and a unique vibe you won’t find anywhere else in the country. With money no longer an issue, I can only imagine how amazing the experience would be. Lagos isn’t cheap—everything from food to transportation is more expensive compared to other cities—but with an unlimited budget, I would be able to make the most of my time there.

One of the first places I would visit is the beach. I have only been to the beach once in my life, and that was about six years ago. I still remember how peaceful it felt to walk barefoot on the sand, the cool breeze , and the calming sound of waves crashing against the shore. It was an unforgettable experience, and I’ve longed to feel that way again. This time, I would plan a full day at the beach, probably at Tarkwa Bay or Elegushi Beach, and just enjoying the scenery, eating fresh seafood, and maybe even trying some water sports like riding on the horse. I literally just want to watch the sunset over the ocean and take it all in.

December in Lagos is known for its lively atmosphere and the numerous concerts happening all over the city. If I were in Lagos during this festive season, attending a concert would be a must. My favorite artist, Davido, has been performing around this time, and it would be a dream come true to see him live on stage. The energy of a Lagos concert is unmatched—the crowd, the music, i just know it is going to be an experience I wouldn’t forget in a hurry.

Another thing I love to do on a normal day is to visit amusement parks and museum. So I would definitely choose to visit the freedom park in Victoria island. Just being in that kind of environment seem like something I’d love to try. It would be a chance to step out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and create memories I would treasure for a long time.

The last thing on my list would be a boat or ship cruise. I've never experienced what it's like to be out on the water, actually floating on a boat, surrounded by nothing but waves. It's definitely something I’d love to try when I get to Lagos.

Overall, Lagos is a city full of opportunities for fun and adventure. Spending Christmas there would literally give me a chance to break out of my usual routine, see a different side of life, and embrace the festive season in a whole new way. If I had the chance, I wouldn’t hesitate to pack my bags and head to Lagos for the holidays.

Thanks for reading and Merry Christmas to you all.
