INTRODUCTION TO MYSELF
My name is Okeowo Ayomide, a dark Yoruba guy. I am from the southwestern part of Nigeria, Ogun State. I am a young guy in his 20s, born on the 6th of March. I am 5’9” tall.
Many people do not even know me by my biological name, Ayomide. Instead, they call me “Kayor”. Kayor is a nickname given to me by a friend of mine who then told me how he got to make up the nickname. He said “I got the letter “K” from your surname, “Okeowo” and the word, “ayor” from your first name, “Ayomide”. And then, I liked the name and I’ve been addressed with that by many people. Even my siblings, lol.
HOW DID I GET INTO HIVE?
A very good friend of mine @starstrings01 introduced me to Hive. He explained a lot of things to me about Hive and how I can showcase my talent to the world, meet people from different places and also learn new things . You may be wondering what talent it is I am talking about.
CAN I EVER GET TIRED OF THIS?
There is one thing I do effortlessly and never get tired of. It is singing. I have been singing ever since I was little. I started singing when I was 9. It was just a regular thing I enjoyed doing then. It was not something really so serious. It started off from when I joined the children’s choir in church and then to the teenagers’. I discovered myself as a singer when I was in high school. It was something I enjoyed doing so much and I became more keen into it when I started meeting people who could sing well too. I have also joined quite about three musical bands before. I also led a choir for a particular concert held in my school. I was the Head of the Choir and Music Director of the band. I have also been a vocal trainer to many individuals. I have helped them to get their voice to sound better, taught them to understand their voice and how to sing beautifully.

I have also been on The Voice Nigeria too. Although, I could not make it to the top. Fast forward to today, singing has been a therapeutic factor to me.
I am also a designer. I am into brand identity designs, flyer designs, poster designs and promotional designs. Asides singing, this is another thing I love to do. I love to communicate my thoughts through visual designs and that was what led me into graphic designing. I have been designing for quite a while now. I started learning graphic designing from when I finished high school in 2017. I was learning for 6 months, then I stopped to go look for money. You know, as a guy, you have to work hard. In the long run, I got admitted into the university and couldn’t continue the training.
In 2021, I came back to designing. This time I came to stay. I started from using Canva for my designs. I went on to learning how to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Everything I learned from designing was self-taught. From watching YouTube videos to trying out every tool on design softwares until I got to understand what they are used for. Now, I have worked with quite a number of brands out there in communicating their brand ideas through compelling visuals; logos, flyers and many more. I design random posters, for celebrities, inspirational, comical purposes and many more.

CONCLUSION
Joining Hive feels great on me already. I am looking forward to meeting new people who I can acquire knowledge from, share ideas and have a great relationship with towards many goals.
