Basketball isn't as popular as football in my country Nigeria but am glad that we still have different Nigerians that embrace the sport and are always involve with it. Basketball is a sport I started loving in 2022 ans since that I have been trying my best to engage in this sport consistently but am always surrounded with some challenges hindering me from being active with this sports.
The basketball court in my area is very bad and this has made my friends and I to play basketball in the street with only one net we constructed. There's another basketball court around but us too far from us and sometimes I try my best to go there and have better basketball experience. I want to talk more about that place and that's what I will also do next time before I talk about the street basketball my friends and I engage in.

The standard basketball court once had only one good net but they fixed the second one earlier this one, before then while they were managing only one net, they were only playing half court game but since they fixed the second net they started playing full court game but it was difficult for them at the beginning because almost all of them were used to playing basketball in half of the court.
Last week games was top notch but I wasn't present in all of them, I was able to get some pictures through screenshots I took from the video of the games. The court was very lively. I didn't participate that day because I didn't go with my shoes and socks, though I was opportuned to partake in their warm up activities. They started with warm up before advancing to shooting workouts.
I was so excited that moment and that was the moment of the day that got me wishing I came with my shoes. We aren't allowed enter the basketball court without shoes and this is the sole reason I was prohibited that day. Some of the guys really made successful shots and I was really impressed with them. Only one or two girls were present that day, although the team doesn't have much girls for now. The girls are really good and I believe they must have done alot of basketball practice in the past.

Shooting workout was successful so they all selected their favourites among themselves and started a game that day. It was getting more amazing and I carefully watched the game, learning some skills as well. It was four sets of teams and everyone was doing very well. The coach of the team also played that day, he's the man wearing an ash hoodie and lemon shorts. The man always encourage all of us to put on our best in whatever we do in other to achieve alot of things in this sport and become stars.
It was a very amazing day and alot really happened, I think I will get more pictures soonest, once I get more videos of the games I won't fail to update everyone. I couldn't stay till the ending of the game because I had somethings to do at home and it was getting dark, I needed to leave on time since my home is very far from the place.
