Dear plantain,
Can I ever have enough of you?
You are so flexible that you make a perfect meal in any recipe you are prepared.
You are source of strength to the weak.
The old, the young and children enjoy eating you.
Although, sometimes you tend to be pricey I guess it's because you are the king of versatility.
Just to let you know that you are my Gee for life and I will choose you over and over again😍
Yours Affectionately,
Luchyl
As humans, we need food to survive, although food is not the only thing that the body needs to function well. Also there is need for the body to eat all the classes of food, but when it comes to a point where I am to eat only one food for the rest of my life, plantain will be it.
My preference for plantain, especially plantain porridge, prepared with the unripe one is something that has been right from childhood. I was a picky child but not when it comes to unripe plantain porridge because my mom usually prepares it in such an appetizing way that I can't resist. From then on, our love story began such that I wouldn't mind eating it on a daily till whenever it tells me to stop, I doubt if it will.😂
