A lot of female child today would have scaled heights and do exploits,if not for early marriages.Early marriages has caused a lot of to the lives of many female children ,thereby making them account to nothing,and making them stick to a certain orientation, now a typical Nigeria girl is expected to be married at a very tender age,despite how the world is today,they don't allow them know right from wrong,the family,parent, community encourages this.
A female child does not see any value in herself anymore,she's not allowed to school,to learn, but just to get married at an early age.
Child marriage, a harmful tradition that has been in existence for quiet a while, young girls today in Nigeria have become victims, thereby stripping them of their childhood, dignity, and future.My Country Nigeria,has one of the highest rates of child marriage,and it calls for a urgent need for change.

Most girls in Nigeria especially in the rural are married before 18,to strangers,and even most times to elderly people,it has become a tradition, and no one sees anything wrong in it.
Child marriage brings about poverty, health risks, and violence,abuse,including ripping off opportunities to be educated as a female as they are being forced to leave school,there's the risk of complications during childbirth,theres the risk of solely depending on the husband to give as she has no other means of surviving,theres the risk of getting depressed as most time she feels inferior, or most times the man she got married to might already have wives at home and then she comes into such a home.
Female children have dreams too.
Female children have visions too.
Female children have aspirations.
Female children also aims for the top.
Female children now are winning and competing high places with men,why not open everyone's eyes to that instead of picking on them to get married
Female children need to be encouraged to learn either a handwork or go to school and not to push and force them into a marriage they are not mentally, emotionally, physically,financially, stable and matured for.
The media or influencers need to use their platform in raising awareness.
Government and individual NGOs should come together and fight this.
We need to stop these else generations to come would blame us,and to bring down walls of child marriage,laws prohibiting such should be reviewed, allow girls be educated to, and also make communities see reasons to stop such.
Child marriage remains a reminder of the inequalities and injustices faced by young girls,most times these female children unknowingly already have who they would get married too immediately they are giving birth to and come of a certain little age.
It's time to break the silence, we need to be against such harmful traditions, and reclaim our girls future.
Allow them aspire.
Allow them learn.
Allow them grow.
Allow them choose.
Allow them love.
Stop early marriage of female child.
