The good old days.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. Indeed, there is no stopping technology now as it continues to evolve; sometimes it hurts because the more it evolves, the more the things we enjoy become obsolete, and we are forced to accept new technologies. Growing up with continuously evolving technology, we have had so many tech trends; some we were involved in, and some we just heard stories of or watched from the sidelines. Sometimes having to leave some of these tech trends caused us a lot of sadness, but getting to experience evolved and improved tech with more efficiency and speed, we were forced to see reasons for this evolvement and improvement.

I remember the days of downloading games from sefan.ru, where you had to choose your screen size, and if you chose the wrong one, you had yourself to blame as the game either ended up being bigger than your screen or way smaller than your screen. Technology evolved and improved, and now we do not have to go through all of that. It was fun while it lasted; you needed to memorize your screen specification then or face the consequences when you forgot it or clicked on the wrong screen specification.

Also, those days with 100 MB, you could download all you want, unlike what we have today, so I feel technology evolved and data lost its value because it is no longer so. These days, even with 10 GB, you ought to be careful about what you click on and what applications software you visit. These techs were not fast, but we got the value for our money data-wise, but these days the techs we enjoy are fast, but the value for our money data-wise is not there.

This prompt is really taking me down memory lanes, causing me nostalgia, and here I am wishing for another chance to experience all of that again. We never knew a day would come when we would go a day without opening some applications and visiting some sites, the likes of waptrick.com, wapdam.com, and sefan.ru, where you get to download lots and lots of games, games like Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man 3, Assassin's Creed, Prince of Persia, and so many others that made childhood fun. I talked to a friend the other day, and he said if only the time, money, and energy spent downloading and playing these games was spent on investing in bitcoin, maybe life wouldn't be the way it is right now.

Those days owning a Nokia ASHA or Symbian phone gives you an edge amongst your peers; you are automatically the boss, hehe. The one tech that is now a thing of the past that I still miss is 2go; it was a kind of competition between my friends and me on who would be on the highest level. Those days we used to put on a feature called away, since it was believed to help boost your level, creating multiple accounts so you could get 2go credits that would enable you to chat in chat rooms and get more friends from there. I have friends who had lovers they never met thanks to 2go 😂. You just chat with each other every day and promise to see each other one day, but it all ended after we moved past 2go.
