I sweat a lot, like a whole lot, on a normal day during the dry season when I sleep and I wake up my bed will be soaked as if someone poured water on me. At the same time, since I know I sweat a lot I tend to take care of myself and make sure I bathe well and on time the least I bathe is two times a day and I make sure I use deodorant. I told my roommate one day that there is this confidence you have walking around or past people when you smell nice, someone one day walked up to me and said you smell so nice what do you use, what is your skincare routine?. In my mind I was like muà ( in Igbo) skincare routine how come now, I just replied that I only use Nivea rollon and Riggs body spray although I have plans of upgrading, but this is where I am now. She just replied keep it up 😊.
I call people that smell bad murders, mind you it's not just about your armpit, your hair, your mouth and other regions can constitute to you having body odor. The environment is already bad and sometimes it's bad to breathe in some environments and then you come from nowhere with your own issues to come and kill me for my mother. The fact that some people even wear hoodie when there's heat without using deodorant is so annoying. As for the actions to take when you encounter someone with body odor it's simple : just walk up to the person and politely tell the person about it and some people might go on as far as educating them on steps to take which I will do shortly but please “read the room” before you give lectures on this topic.
Steps to take to prevent body odor:
1) bathe regularly, and don't just bathe regularly clean the hidden/ enclosed parts of your body.
2) use deodorant.
3) brush your mouth carelessly twice a day, once is still ok.
4) know when to wear thick or lighter clothes ( times and seasons).
Keep yourself clean always and with that being said
Thanks for stopping by my blog. See you soon. 🤗
