Hi everyone, and welcome to my blog.
On this one, I will be writing about something incredible that happened to me last week, though most people might find it not to be something to be over-excited about as them be rich kids nah, hahaha.
So, a few months ago my phone got spoilt and it was due to anger, not like I threw the phone or any of that, no I would never do that, what happened was that I was not in a good mood that very day and my roommate took it as the best day to get on my nerves which I was not taking so lightly. She started with her dramas though what happened that day was something I would normally overlook if I was in my right frame of mind, no I took it too personally because I was very moody that day and because I wanted to avoid trouble that very day because it was already getting tensed I had to leave the house to cool off. As soon as I got to the front of our house my phone dropped and it instantly went off, after much struggle to turn it on, it finally came on but the screen was gone, I could not cry that day because why did this have to happen now when I was not even planning for it, that made me weaker than I already was.
So I took the phone to the engineer that does help me fix my phone in school and you know engineer stuff now, they will just start giving someone price like they are not in this country which usually pisses me off, so my engineer said to fix the phone will cost me 12k because I also need to change the power flex and charging port, and I was like is it just this little fall that the phone had that I will be needing to spend all this money on, though the phone has helped me it was already long overdue and needed a replacement. So I decided not to fix the phone again for now and stay like that since they wanted me to be phoneless.
That's how I started thinking of how to get a new one, and have always had it in mind to get an iPhone and this time I'm going to use it for a long time nothing will make me sell it off like the first one again.
When I checked my savings account I saw that the money that was there was not even enough to get the phone I wanted because of the current dollar rate, I was just tired and I continued asking different vendors to see which of their prices would suit me. After a long search, all the vendors I saw were calling nothing less than 250k 220k for one phone. But still, I did not give up. So a friend of mine introduced me to his vendor, he gave me his number and asked me to message him and I was like don't you feel you should message him yourself, at least he knows you he will reduce the price for you, so my friend insisted that I message him myself that it will be better that way.
So I messaged this vendor my friend introduced to me and he also gave me his price, then he said he was selling a phone for a low price, so I asked for the amount of the one I wanted to get and he told me, so I was like can he help me keep it till I'm able to gather up the money, he told me that no oo he cannot do that if I want him to keep the phone, I'd have to deposit something and I said fine that I was going to get back to him, so I had to take out of my saving to deposit for the phone so it won't get sold out so I can start looking for the rest.
After that, I started calling people that have promised to get me a phone in the past or the ones who promised that when I was ready they would add to what I had, some of them responded, and the rest left me on coming but that doesn't matter anymore.
Luckily for me, I was able to gather up all the money for the phone and send it to the guy last week. So I officially became a phone owner as of last week which I was so very happy about, because now I can do anything I want to do on my new phone and I'm going to flex it till I have money to change it again.
