Compliment of the season to everyone, welcome to this week hive Naija activity series and today is indeed unique cause it the last day of the year 2024.Today I will be writing about the topic given to us this week "how our Christmas celebration went".
Mine went actually the way I pictured it even though it wasn't exactly.On Christmas day, which is the Lord and Savior is born.
I started my day with christ,my family and I went to church and sang praises to God.After that we came back and I started preparing food,we went for 6am mass that's why we could not cook before going to church.
As the only daughter out of six children,the work load was on me,I had to do the needful so that my mother could have a rest in this special day,I prepared white rice and stew with salad.This dish is actually very common around us in Nasarawa State especially on Christmas or any other celebration,when I was done serving we ate as a family and some of my friends came around,we then we to take pictures to keep memories cause we will soon be going back to school after the holiday.
We then came back,one of the funniest thing is that I did not braid my hair cause of how busy I was,my mum then decided to plait all back so that my hair would not look all messy,two of my friends came, Precious and Goodness came home and met me while I was making my hair,we wanted to go and meet other friends so I had to leave my hair half way and cover it up,funny right?we went to a relaxation centre popularily known as Gaji in Nasarawa State,Nigeria.I saw my classmates,seniors and also junior,I was so happy that we could meet and even exchanged numbers.We talked and laughed, bought drinks and merry.
But before I would skip this part that made me laugh alot,my friend bought an alcoholic drink and drank a whole bottle,I was telling her not to but she thought she had capacity to withhold it,we we were on our way waiting for our ride she began to feel dizzy and all that,she was completely off,I knew I shouldn't have been laughing but I was laughing my heart out,it was so dramatic.
We came back to my house so that she could get her things and the went home together with goodnesa cause the were neighbor.My Christmas continued with my parents at home,we recap and eat dinner.
Christmas is a wonderful experience that spreads love around,am always and deeply happy that I could be with my family and friends during this season.
That day ended so fast to me and I wished everyday is Christmas but it can't be,the joy and love that comes with it is so amazing and beyound measure.But the best thing we can do is to continue to make every day in our heart like Christmas, let's Christ be born a new so that his peace can continue to grow in our life.
