A dictator with a heart

A dictator is someone who gets power over a country by force, and that is what I wouldn't want to do because once that happens, it means people don't want me there, but I am there by myself, which wouldn't make anything I want to do easier for me.

I wouldn't take it if I was offered to become one, but let's just say I become a dictator by chance. Well, I wouldn't hesitate to flush out all the people that are making the country hard for citizens because if the country is good, we will all live in peace and with the rest of our minds.

For instance, I am a chorister, and there was a day the choir mistress misbehaved by not cautioning the choir during the Sunday service, and the pastor said he was going to rotate the title for everyone in the choristers so that everyone could see what it takes to be the head of a band and to let the choir mistress see that there are people who could handle it better than her among us.

What I noticed was that the choir mistress plays a lot, and that made the rest of the choir disobey her, which made the pastor say she was misbehaving and she didn't take her position seriously.

I always tell her to play when there is time, and when we are in the rehearsal or during the service, she should try and be serious so that if she tells someone not to do something, they won't do it, but they all become too close to control them.

Everyone did what they could when it was their turn, but when it got to my turn, I laid down some rules that everyone must come to rehearsals, and whoever fails to follow the rules wouldn't be allowed to enter the barricade on Sunday. Because I have studied them, they don't like coming to rehearsals but they love entering the barricade on Sunday.

Another thing I made them do was make sure to share every song we would sing on Sunday with everyone, unlike how the choir's mistress will be the only one singing throughout the Sunday; all we do is back up singers, which didn't give some people the courage to become vocalists among us.

It was hard for them to cope with at first, but before I dropped the post of choir mistress for a month, I could see some people trying their best to come to rehearsal and trying to build themselves up as vocalists.

After everyone had done their part, the choir mistress asked how I was able to handle them, and I told her that power is something that would make people subject you to it, and once you know how to use the power, no one can stop you.

If I were to be the director of this country, then we would go back to the good life we have always wanted because all the things those governments are using to manipulate citizens lives would be stopped. Since I have the power to end it and make people live a better life, why wouldn't I do it?

I also wanted to leave this hardship, so helping people escape from it would benefit me as well. As long as the world is a better place during the time I am a dictator, I will be happy. More so, my human nature can never get the better of me because I also wanted a good life for myself and my generation, so that is the reason I would make sure the economy is better during my time.

A dictator with a heart… that’s quite the title. Caught my attention. In my opinion, Nigeria is way too deep in the mess created by the people itself. It would take a lot of effort and time and heart to help alleviate it some.

Power and Leadership goes hand in hand if there’s a balance. Empathy and compassion is necessary for any leader to lead right. And that’s what our current thieves, I mean, leaders lack.

Lol 😂 you are absolutely right because most of the problems we face now is due to how we make the country miserable for ourselves even without the government and now to add their to the situation hmmm

I can't wait for you to become president 😁😁👍

Haha 😂 I don’t know if that would ever happen

It might🤷😁 coz no on knows tomorrow. So when u start ur campaign just lemme know😁😎
