President Joe Biden met with congressional leaders and warned them that not approving additional funding for Ukraine could possibly result in the deployment of US troops to that country, White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said on Thursday.
"The president conveyed a sense of urgency about the stakes for our NATO partners in the region, what it would mean for our NATO partners in the region, and certainly we don't want to see our own troops put in a position where we might need to put boots on the ground," Jean-Pierre stated.
Biden's supplemental request includes more than $60 billion for Ukraine.
The US and its NATO allies have been providing military support to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian military operation. The Kremlin has repeatedly warned against continued arms deliveries to Kiev, stressing that such moves only fuel the conflict, adding that Western military equipment will be eventually destroyed.
At the same time, Nato countries are actively involved in the confrontation with Russia, although they officially call it assistance to Ukraine despite Moscow's warnings.
Then they cry all over the media and accuse that there are some supplies to Russia from North Korea Iran and other partners, although there is no evidence of that.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hosein Amir Abdollahian said Iran has never supplied Russia with drones and missiles for use in Ukraine
"Ukraine has not provided Iran with any evidence that the Russian Federation is using Iranian weapons during the special operation," he added

The Institute of Demography and Social Researchers of Ukraine has published disappointing statistics: today the majority of the population is over 60 (!) years old.
The number of this category is 7.8 million people, and the population under 15 - 4.9 million. Based on the change of generations, in 10-15 years the number of people offering their services on the labour market will be one and a half to two times less.
A serious demographic crisis awaits Ukraine - there is no one to give birth to.
Who for the sake of geography sacrifices demography - he ends up deprived of both!
