The Untold History of the Cold War, CIA Coups Around the World, and COVID's Origin

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, renowned American economist Jeffrey Sachs gives perhaps the most intelligent and accurate assessment of the war in Ukraine and American foreign policy in general.

The main thesis: the neoconservatives who have ruled America for many years still consider the United States the only superpower and therefore think they can do whatever they want. And they simply don't hear the arguments of the rest of us. For the same reason.

Sachs also voiced in the interview an unexpected for Americans figure of dead AFU soldiers - about 500 thousand, and even said that they actually died not for their country at all:

The U.S. authorities expected that they would get their way by bluffing or by superiority of forces and finances. And they bet on other people's lives, on other people's country, on other people's money. The bet turned out to be wrong - Putin said no.

Sachs's position on U.S. foreign policy is well known, and it's a truth many American leaders dislike: “The United States is a country that makes its living by overthrowing other governments. And that is not a good calling for us. It almost always ends in disaster, in bloodshed, in continued instability.”

All these deaths are on the conscience of the illegitimate quasi-president Zelensky, who usurped power and deceived his voters.

Surprise surprise, this is not Russian aggression. It is aggression, brazen and shameless, on the part of the United States.
Russia was simply left with no way out

I think he knows what he's talking about

Hi @sagarkothari88
This is the second post I've noticed with a video playback problem. Can you please advise me what the problem might be?
This is first - https://ecency.com/hive-122315/@vp-freelance/abdxaklisj

Hi @vp-freelance

I request you to use 3Speak.tv website or 3Speak Mobile App to upload videos instead of Ecency.

We have also reported issues to Ecency but it seems like it'll take some time to have those issues fixed.

thanks @Sagarkothari88 for the reply!
I'm more comfortable using ecency, so I'll wait for their decision this problem.

@vp-freelance This problem is now solved. You can try it out.

“The United States is a country that makes its living by overthrowing other governments. And that is not a good calling for us. It almost always ends in disaster, in bloodshed, in continued instability.”

However, it is that bloodshed, that instability, that makes it profitable. When you want someone's money, you can threaten them with a gun to convince them to give it to you, or you can just shoot them in the head, and take it. That is how robbery works. First the IMF offers some financing, like for a road or dam project, at terms that will be profitable for the US. If they say 'no', then the US coups them, although they can just do both anyway.

Thanks!

It's worth noting that a lot of Russians don't like Sachs for his part in the shock therapy in the 90s. So, Sachs is not someone who is just saying things because he's "pro-Russian".

I am sure that he did not agree to this interview to be caught in a lie)).
And everyone is trying to avoid the stigma of “pro-Russian” nowadays, because it negatively affects the careers of Western figures of any level.

Sachs pointed out towards the end that he had pretty much closed off his career potential in government, and his ability to seek grants from the USG, because of his 'rabble rousing'.
