If you have been following along our daily walk you may remember when I shared some pics of this Garden Home being built in the neighbourhood.
Last month, my better half and I went to the first open house for the unit on the right. They are asking $489,900 for that unit which has a little more living space and is a corner lot.
As you can see it was listed for $469,900
...and you can see the next home that is currently in construction.
I just find these prices unbelievably high but then what do you expect for 40+ years of an inflationary market. In 1980, I paid $38,000 for my home and 4 years later I spent $41,000 for a truck. I can no longer keep up with this illusionary marketplace. I mean, what is reality? It's like I am a churning machine for moving worthless paper money. No wonder digital currency is more attractive to me today.
