As I started my second week of my 30 day rune practice yesterday, I ventured into a multi-rune draw.
This whole workbook has a daily rune pull with the basic intent of what I need to focus on for the day.
Here's where I rounded out last week
The next 7 days (well, 5 now, after today) will add a 3 rune pull to better understand situations. That is to say, I should think on a situation I'd like more clarity on.
To start, Day 8 I pulled Kanu, or Opening.
I was heading out to run errands yesterday and so I simply stayed open to any signs. Not specifically to my current path, however, in case this path isn't quite right. (Something I am struggling with more and more each day.)
My situation runes came up:
Wunjo (joy), Perth (intuition), Laguz (flow)
I've labeled the as they appear in the picture but they are actually read right to left, which is odd to me. I had to re-read them!
The positioning of the runes correspond as such:
Right-Current situation
Center-Obstacle to overcome
Left-the resolution
My observation of the whole thing led me to this: My flow is blocked by my resistance to trust my intuition. Once I overcome this I will find joy.
Of course this is a very basic reading of that, but it's only my 8th reading!
(Again, here is the bookI am using for this practice)
So here we are at day 9. New day. New focus and situation.
I can see the 'what situation needs clarification' question is going to get tricky as there's not that much going on in my life! haha
Nevertheless, let's dig in.
My 'focus' rune was Gabo (GAI-bo), partnership.
My first thought led me to my relationship with my husband, but with further (DEEPER) thought, I looked back to yesterday when I was out being open to signs. I ran into an old friend and caught her up on my current situation. A partnership could mean a NEW one, and this rune reminds me to be open to letting others help me. (A talent I do NOT possess, sadly.)
The 3-rune situation pull was:
Algiz (protection), Jera (harvest), Wunjo (joy)
Again, though that is how they are laid out in the picture, they are read right to left.
I am not unhappy that I have pulled Wunjo (joy) again. In the first position, my current situation, I'm happy.
The Jera (harvest) rune, in the obstacle position, reminds me to enjoy what I have and not to take anything too seriously.
Lastly, the resolution position is Algiz (protection) which tells me to trust that I am protected and safe and to let things unfold as they will.
Without getting too personal, it did help me with the situation I needed clarity on, as now I can let that situation be what it will.
So there you are, all caught up with my rune draw. Starting tomorrow it'll be at one per day since I am finally on step with my days.
Happy Divination! ;)
