I thought this morning, after the last few long-winded posts, that I'd keep my daily rune posts to the general 1-rune draw. We'll see how I feel by the end of it.
There's also the reality that I am doing these daily draws for myself and perhaps it means so little to anyone else, that there' no point to going into too much detail.
My main goal, truly though, is to maybe spark a little curiosity in someone else to experiment with different divination tools. It has given me, if nothing else, a little hope for my days. Some distraction from the negative or mundane bits of life that can be so heavy sometimes.
So let's get on with it.
Today, my 'focus' rune was Hagalaz (HA-ga-las), Disruption.
Now, 'disruption' does not seem like something I want to focus on! haha
But the deeper meaning of it, like with all divination purpose, is to sort of 'be on the look out' for things. Yes a disruption is not usually a good thing, but not necessarily a bad thing!
It is all about how we look at things. I have fully fallen into the saying 'energy flows where the mind goes'.
If I am looking for some sort of disruption that is somehow going to negatively impact my life...that is what I will get.
So instead I choose to see this as the much needed 'shake up' that my life may need right now.
I think I won't go into the rest of the lengthy reading as it is somewhat personal today.
But I feel compelled to at least show the runes I pulled.
I think I am just really draw to symbols so I like to look at the tiles. Maybe you do too?
I'll give the general meanings.
Left: Naudiz (NOW-deez), Constraint
Center: Ingwaz (ING-waz), Fertility
Right: Mannaz (MAH-naz), The Self ...which I've drawn many times over the last 10 days!
Reading them as: (R) current situation, (C) obstacle to overcome, (L) the resolution
Suffice to say, based on my situation that needs clarity, it is up to me to embrace whatever new opportunities come up and be cautious of how I react.
I hope you are having fun learning a little about runes with me.
It is nice to have a little bit of distraction sometimes.
