Hello everyone in the homesteading community how are you all? How has been your week. This morning am going to be showing an update about my garden and what all it comprises I planted most of these few months ago and they are germinating pretty great.
Most of these were planted to save the stress of going down to the market to buy them, its pretty much easy when you have a crop in your back yard it saves time and money. At this moment in my country things are very much expensive so it would be great to have your own resources. Besides plants are good they produce oxygen to human and they come with a lot of benefits.
First on the list is a vegetable called 'ugwu' in my language(yoruba) but its called pumpkin leaves in English language
Here is the pumpkin I got this from another germinating pumpkin leave in the garden
Next,is the scent leave know as 'efirin' in Yoruba language
Below is the fig tree which is the tree which was mentioned to be cursed in the bible to me I believe it's very rare
Bitter leave called 'ewuro' in Yoruba language
Aloe vera,as rough as its body looks it's very useful. The gel gotten from aloe vera is used to moisturize the skin
Newly planted banana plant
Here is an already growing banana plant
Cocoyam plant
Here is a plant I have forgotten its name but I remember clearly it's good for cleansing the body system
Thank you for stopping by my post have a nice day.
