Hello My dearest Home steaders it's been a while ...well?...this had been due to the busy and tight schedule and the season demands .. but I never forgot my place of Love....cause I always find it fun when I'm into nurturing and caring for my plants and small garden by my house...

Okay so basically all of my family we are into some sort of farming or the other.....

After a bomber harvest of fruits at my brothers palm fruits farm we process the fruits to get red oil for cooking and other uses

I and my brother at his Farm

My brother he is into this oil milling farming and act of extracting red oil from the palm fruit plant, I did a post about that you can check it out here some time ego, he also own a very large palm tree farm of which harvesting is done every three or two monthly interval ...

At my aunt's farm during the planting season

My Aunt has one of the largest cassava farm in Cross River State Nigeria with approximately 5-7 hectares of land for planting Cassava ...cassava is what we use use in processing Garri you can also check out the post I made about it here

But the surprising part of it is the banana plant that has grown so big and the produce is the largest I have ever seen....normally the average size of the banana produce use to be about 5-6 coaches but to my greatest surprised this has about 10 or more coaches ...

The big produce is so weighty it bends the banana tree towards the ground...and I'm sure my granny will make a great fortune in selling this one once it is due for harvesting

Banana fruit is highly consumed here and many people loved it too, we normally sale a bunch of banana for about $10 or more depending on the size but I'm pretty sure this will go for $20 or more altho buys will love to bargain a lot but I won't give in because this banana bunch is so big and it's worth it

beside that we had a small land at the back of our compound in the village were we have some banana plantation and another for planting our cassava plant

You and your family are all very hard workers. I love seeing all the different plant life you have there. That bunch of bananas is the craziest thing I've ever seen, I hope your Granny makes a good fortune off of it! Enjoy the success of your labour.
