HELLO HIVE
There is an essential difference between what we eat and what we don't, we don't eat what isn't edible for our body that's why we are not eating everything green out there. One criterion for selecting what we eat is the health benefits that it will provide to our body, the essential nutrition that will leaf in our body after we've passed out what we don't need is what makes one food more nutritive than the other.
There are several kinds of vegetables out there and for the ones that I have been privileged to be exposed to jute leaf is one of the most nutritive leaf vegetables out there although it is the most underrated vegetable plant around my place and it is the most common amongst certain tribes and cultures in Nigeria.
The lack of exposure to this plant meant that it took me years before I finally had a taste even though it was all around me all this time Easy to cultivate and prepare if you know how to make it with the most essential part being the leaf of the jute plant.
Cultivating this plant requires good land and a good water supply that is the reason behind cultivating this plant around water sides like the river, I cultivated this small portion of jute plant on land at the river bank and I can easily provide water to it consistently either manually or using irrigation machines.
For a plant with nutritional values like vitamins (A, B, and C) it has positive effects on the body cells which improves our skin, our health, and many other benefits.
