Hello everyone, sad week for me, crops were badly damaged after a few hours of rain.
I just had a very serious problem, some days it rained very hard, my garden was flooded, so there was a lot of damage to the chili and cucumber plants, it became difficult for me to cope with the flood, many plants died due to puddles of rain for days. One day, I felt a little reluctant to see the situation in my garden which was flooded by rain.
Last month I was able to harvest more peppers and pumpkins, the puddles have been going on for the past week so I have to wait for my garden to dry completely from the puddles of rain. Pumpkins and chilies are hard to turn but I don't need to drain this water with a pump.
The backyard of the house a few years ago, there were many big trees and they grew thick, I turned it into a garden, my sister and family always helped to plant chilies, we usually harvested together there, that unfortunate thing happened this week, so we also experienced losses after the rain made the garden sink.
I went just to visit and see the situation of the plants, I thought next month I will plant cucumbers, so I think this plan failed, I just let the garden lie dormant for a while.
My grandfather kept me from gardening this week, because the weather wasn't as good as usual, some of the plants died out, next to it there were some corns that were one week old but only leftovers, others all just disappeared as long as the water was flooded.
Hundreds of pumpkin and chili plants are extinct, the weather forecast is not so good, we always miss the dry atmosphere in the garden but the phenomenal nature does not support gardening for a while, the surrounding meadows are not flooded, my land is a little deep and easily flooded by rainwater if it rains at any time.
The plants that we serve, staple crops such as vegetables, tomatoes were harvested last month, today I only saw the situation from afar, I postponed working in the garden as usual.
