Semana Santa Drama.

I deactivated my Facebook again as to why I frequent Hive. Honestly, what triggered me to deactivate is my sister's misfortune. She dropped her phone that is not fully paid yet and it's not functional even a little bit.

I am a Christian and I am a very self-reflective person. In my every action, I can always think of the outcome, especially as I have observed how it affected others, just like the case with my sister.

She's always on her phone, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok. She likes a boy band SB19 and she's so addicted to it. She admitted that she's been into social media excessively and thus she learns her lesson; her phone was taken away from her.

My safe place is Netflix; I love TV shows, and every time I'm bored and even when I get overwhelmed with so much work to do, I take my rest on Netflix.

As a Christian, I'm not supposed to be dwelling on entertainment and wasting time. It's not bad to get entertained once in a while, but being on it could compromise time for chores and especially for Bible reading and prayers; one should be very aware.

God is a jealous God, and He said so in His Word. He took the Israelites out of Egypt to worship Him, being sanctified, and me, being made clean by Jesus' blood for Him, and yet, I'm spending time for my own pleasure. Surely, He'll take away stuff that robs my time for Him.

Hive is a safe place, as evidently, this is where I post my sentiments.

How to learn lessons?
Take it hard. Haha
Lessons learned the hard way is hard to forget. This idea came from Pharaoh's stubbornness. I watched Testament: The Story of Moses during the Semana Santa.

Well, as for me, I'll take lessons from others' mistakes. I am not dumb to do the same and suffer for it.
I need to remind myself everyday, lest I forget too.
