Saludos, comunidad, después de estar varias semanas inactiva en la parte musical y de vacaciones forzadas y sin paga debido a una virosis que me puso disfónica regreso a los micrófonos de hive.blog y al fín podré participar en el Concurso Karaoke VDC.
En realidad, estuve a punto de participar en la edición pasada, pero… seleccioné interpretar la canción “Algo tonto” que grabaron Frank y Nancy Sinatra (Padre e hijo) Pero … no pude participar con “Algo tonto” porque me ocurrió…”algo tonto”: Por error, ern lugar de subir mi video usbí uno de mi hijo @luisfe que estaba en el equipo y enseguida borre el mío original.
Perdí mucho tiempo mientras me enteraba de lo ocurrido, anulaba la publicación “y otros” (Me gustaba más utilizar el “etc.”) y luego las caídas de internet y los cortes de la luz se confabularon para que no pudiera participar.
Pero hoy pude al fin.
El karaoke tiene algo muy lindo que es el de tener ese acompañamiento instrumental igual al del intérprete original, Lo que no es tan lindo es el hecho de que nos obliga a cantar en el tono original y a veces no coincide el tono original de la canción con aquel con el que nos encontraríamos cómodos. En este caso el tono no es el que yo utilizaría para cantar este tema… si lo tomo abajo me queda un poco grave y si lo hago una octava más alta me queda muy agudo.
¿Y por qué no escogí otra canción? Porque… bueno me quise dar ese gustito de compartir tarima con Engelbert Humperdinck y “robarle” su orquesta acompañante un ratito…la magia que solo el karaoke nos brinda

What is not so nice is the fact that it forces us to sing in the original tone and sometimes the original tone of the song does not match with the one with which we would be comfortable. In this case the tone is not the one I would use to sing this song... if I take it down it is a little low and if I do it an octave higher it is very high.
And why didn't I choose another song? Because… well, I wanted to give myself the pleasure of sharing the stage with Engelbert Humperdinck and “steal” his accompanying orchestra for a little while… the magic that only karaoke offers us
