Greetings Community! Welcome to my contribution to this week's Social media challenge. I've been actively writing about Splinterlands for several days now and the effect of these eventful weeks, from the uncertain fate of the proposal, to the financial debacle and its effect on the prices of the game's tokens and assets. But today we're going to talk about some news that many of us were waiting for, the arrival of the new reward cards belonging to the Rebellion edition. In this post I'll share with you the top 4 of my favorite cards that have been shown so far, let's get started!
Saludos Comunidad! Sean bienvenidos a mi aporte al Social media challenge de esta semana. Tengo ya varios días escribiendo activamente sobre Splinterlands y el efecto de estas accidentadas semanas, desde el destino incierto de la propuesta, hasta la debacle financiera y su efecto sobre los precios de los tokens y activos del juego. Pero hoy vamos hablar de una noticia que muchos estábamos esperando, la llegada de las nuevas cartas rewards pertenecientes a la edición Rebellion. En este post te compartiré el top 4 de mis cartas favoritas que hasta ahora se han mostrado, comencemos!
Top 4: Drybone Megalodon
Drybone Megalodon is, so to speak, the first rare melee/tank card that the fire class has had since the Untamed edition. This was very frustrating, especially in the modern format since we couldn't find a tank that was suitable for mid-mana games. Forgotten One and Chaos Golem are cards of high rarity and cannot always be counted on since they are also odd, so in even games this splinter is very limited. I'm glad they added this rare tank to the fire class. Next!
Drybone Megalodon es por decirlo de algún modo la primera carta melé/tanque raro que la clase fuego tiene desde la edición Untamed. Esto era algo muy frustrante, sobre todo en el formato moderno ya que no encontrábamos un tanque que fuera apto para partidas de mana intermedio. Forgotten One y Chaos Golem son cartas de una elevada rareza y no siempre se puede contar con ellas ya que además son impares por lo que en partidas pares este splinter queda muy limitado. Me alegra que hayan incorporado a este tanque raro para la clase fuego. Next!
Top 3: Comander Slade
Once again the water splinter reinforces its title as the strongest class in the meta in my opinion and with this card it reinforces it even more! This is a very good alternative for Diemonshark and Lamell Refugee, I suppose that the presence of this card is to prepare the way for the moment when the Chaos Legion/Riftwatchers sets go to the Wild format. Everything indicates that modern will reserve cards with high stat values since Commander Slade has stats worthy of a legendary card.
Nuevamente el splinter de agua refuerza su titulo como la clase más fuerte del meta a mi juicio y con esta carta lo reafirma todavía más! Esta es una muy buena alternativa para Diemonshark y Lamell Refugee, supongo que la presencia de esta carta es ir preparando el camino para el momento en que los sets Chaos Legion/Riftwatchers pasen al formato Wild. Todo indica que moderno se reservará carta con altos valores de estadísticas ya que Comander Slade tiene estadísticas dignas de una carta legendaria.
Top 2: Ujurak Elder
Neutral class units in modern format are mainly support for me, there are few offensive units that stand out: Dr. Blight & Supply Runner for example. Ujurak Elder is another one of those support cards, it gives +1 to life and +1 to the speed of the entire group, which is perfect since having several units that increase our speed allows us to have the initiative on the battlefield.
Las unidades de clase neutra en formato moderno son para mi principalmente de apoyo, pocas son las unidades ofensivas que destacan: Dr. Blight & Supply Runner por ejemplo. Ujurak Elder es otra de esas cartas de apoyo, confiere + 1 a la vida y +1 a la velocidad de todo el grupo esto viene perfecto ya que contar con varias unidades que aumenten nuestra velocidad permite tener la iniciativa en el campo de batalla.
Ujurak Elder is an ideal complement to Clockwork Aide, which also increases the team's speed but also eliminates enemy defenses by -2. In short, this new card further strengthens the variety of support cards in the neutral class.

Top 1: Halaran Huntress & Thanalorian Blade
At the top of this list we have 2 cards that belong to the same splinter and that I think are the most remarkable even above the bunch of new abilities that they are proposing, I am referring to the incorporation of: Halaran Huntress & Thanalorian Blade, they are powerful melee cards for the ground splinter, the first with the Charge ability and the second with the opportunity ability, which allows them to attack from the second position.
En el Top de esta lista tenemos 2 cartas que pertenecen al mismo splinter y que me parece lo más destacable incluso por encima del montón de habilidades nuevas que están proponiendo, me refiero a la incorporación de: Halaran Huntress & Thanalorian Blade, son potentes cartas melé para el splinter de tierra, la primera con la habilidad Charge y el segundo con la habilidad opportunity lo que les permite atacar desde la segunda posición.

Thanalorian Blade stands out because it combines 2 skills that are almost redundant: Execute and Trample. I find it almost obscene to see a card with these 2 abilities, we would be talking about a card capable of executing more than 4 attacks per turn!
Thanalorian Blade, destaca por que combina 2 habilidades que son casi redundantes: Execute y Trample. Me parece casi hasta obsceno ver una carta con estas 2 habilidades, estaríamos hablando de una carta capaz de ejecutar más de 4 ataques por turno!

Continuum Seer
One of the things that no one can question in Splinterlands is the care in the art and design of its cards. The evolution of the art of Splinterlands is something that I have highlighted in previous posts and this Rebellion edition has not been the exception, in fact from the Core edition my favorite design is Venka the Vile, a luxury card that I would like to have even if it is level 1! Of the Rewads cards that I have seen so far, Continuum Seer is the most remarkable in terms of art and the best thing is that it is of the fire class, I hope that this splinter continues to be improved since it has been very relegated since the release of Chaos Legion.
Una de las cosas que nadie puede poner en duda en Splinterlands es el cuidado en el arte y el diseño de sus cartas. La evolución del arte de Splinterlands es algo que he destacado en post anteriores y esta edición Rebellion no ha sido la excepción, de hecho de la edición Core mi diseño favorito es Venka the Vile una carta de lujo que desearía tener aunque sea lvl 1! De las cartas Rewads que hasta ahora he visto Continuum Seer es la más destacable en cuanto a arte y lo mejor es que es de la clase fuego, espero que a este splinter se le siga mejorando ya que ha quedado muy relegado desde la salida de Chaos Legion.
Well friends this was my top 4 of the reward cards that I have been able to see so far. Many of these cards are a great addition, and not because of the new abilities, which will simply make it more difficult for new players to master the game, but because it seems that certain classes such as earth and fire will be given a new focus. Bien amigos este fue mi top 4 de las cartas rewards que he podido ver hasta ahora. Es un gran aporte mucha de estas carta y no por la nuevas habilidades, que simplemente harán más complicado el dominio del juego para los nuevos jugadores, sino que al parecer se les dará un nuevo enfoque a ciertas clases como tierra y fuego. Esperemos que cuando se revelen todas las cartas rewards veamos nuevas estrategias en estas 2 clases. Nos vemos en un próximo Social media challenge. Saludos!
