Greetings dear Splinterlands community! I welcome you to my entry to the social media challenge, where we share reflections, strategies and future perspectives of the game. On this occasion I want to begin these lines by highlighting that after reading and reflecting on both discord and the different points of view of players who shared their impressions of the new requirements in the wild format, I decided to give it a chance and test this format in depth with the new modifications.
Saludos estimada comunidad de Splinterlands! Les doy la bienvenida a mi entrada al social media challenge, donde compartimos reflexiones, estrategias y perspectivas futuras del juego. En esta ocasión quiero comenzar estas líneas destacando que después de leer y reflexionar tanto en discord como los distintos puntos de vistas de jugadores que compartieron sus impresiones de los nuevos requerimientos en el formato wild decidí darle una oportunidad y testear a profundidad este formato con las nuevas modificaciones.
⚡ Returning to the wild format/Retomando el formato wild
We then decided to buy the season pass and begin our journey in ranked games from diamond 3 in the wild format. It is important to note that now you get more glints tokens for victories, this was one of the reasons why I did not participate in this format last season.
Decidimos entonces comprar el pase de temporada y comenzar nuestro viaje en partidas clasificatorias desde diamante 3 en el formato wild. Es importante destacar que ahora si se obtienen mas tokens glints por victorias, esta fue una de las razones por las que no participé en este formato en la temporada pasada.
In the same way, we responded to Splinterlands' call to double the Sps requirements in stacking, we spent the equivalent of $8 so far this season to obtain better rewards, but I will wait until the season ends to evaluate if the investment relationship is actually /cost benefits us as they supposedly assure us.
De igual forma atendimos el llamado de Splinterlands de aumentar al doble los requerimientos de Sps en stacking, gastamos el equivalente a 8$ en lo que va de temporada para obtener mejores recompensas, pero esperaré a que termine la temporada para evaluar si efectivamente la relación inversión/costo nos beneficia como supuestamente nos aseguran.
Returning to my current state in the league, I am in Champion 3 and the most challenging battles are those low mana games or those that have a specific ruleset like earthquake. There are very useful flying units for battles of this type but everything becomes complicated when we have battles with a fairly tight mana limit between 12 to 22 mana.
Volviendo con mi estado actual en la liga, me encuentro en Champion 3 y las batallas más desafiantes son aquellas partidas de bajo mana o aquellas que tienen un ruleset específico como earthquake. Existen unidades voladoras muy útiles para batallas de este tipo pero todo se complica cuando tenemos batallas con un limite de mana bastante ajustado entre 12 a 22 de mana.
In the next battle I want to share with you which are my favorite flying units to face very low mana battles with the earthquake rule. Let's get started!

Ok friends, this is one of those complicated low mana battles and the earthquake ruleset, there are low mana flying units that with the right summoner can give us victory and in that sense our best option is the dragon splinter. We see which of the summoners is ideal for this battle.
Ok amigos, esta es una de esas batallas complicadas de bajo mana y la ruleset earthquake, existen unidades voladoras de bajo mana que con el invocador adecuado puede darnos la victoria y en ese sentido nuestra mejor opción se encuentra en el splinter dragón. Vemos cual de los invocadores es el ideal para esta batalla.

🧙♂️Summoner/Invocador: Selenia Sky
Our offensive core will be focused mainly on ranged attack units and in that sense we will use a legendary card that I have rarely seen used: Selenia Sky. This card has the advantage of costing us only 3 mana points and increasing the damage of ranged units. These 2 characteristics will allow us to create a fairly complete lineup that we will see below.
Nuestro núcleo ofensivo estará centrado principalmente en unidades de ataque rango y en ese sentido usaremos a una carta legendaria que pocas veces he visto que usan: Selenia Sky. Esta carta tiene la ventaja de costarnos solo 3 puntos de mana y aumentar el daño de las unidades rango, estas 2 características nos van a permitir la creación de una alineación bastante completa que vamos a ver a continuación.
👾 Monsters/Monstruos: Dragon Spirit
When it comes to mini tanks, the life class has a fairly competent unit: Pelacor Conjurer, however since we do not have the life class in this battle we will use my favorite dragon class mini tank: Spirit Dragon. Although it costs 3 mana, this unit has good speed to dodge attacks, is immune to afflictions and ultimately has the redemption ability that deals +1 physical damage upon death.
Cuando se trata de mini tanques la clase vida tiene una unidad bastante competente: Pelacor Conjurer, sin embargo como no contamos con la clase vida en esta batalla usaremos mi mini tanque favorito de la clase dragón: Spirit Dragon. Aunque tiene un costo de 3 de mana esta unidad tiene buena velocidad para esquivar ataques, es inmune a las aflicciones y en última instancia cuenta con la habilidad redención que infringe +1 de daño físico al morir.
👾 Manticore
Manticore is the next unit in our lineup, this melee card can attack from second position due to its reach ability and in addition to flying this card stands out for its large amount of life and the thorns ability that returns physical damage, this makes it a ideal monster to accompany our Spirit Dragon.
Manticore es la siguiente unidad en nuestra alineación, esta carta melé puede atacar desde la segunda posición por su habilidad reach y además de volar esta carta destaca por su gran cantidad de vida y la habilidad thorns que devuelve el daño físico, esto lo convierte en un monstruo ideal para acompañar a nuestro Spirit Dragon.
👾 Tower Giffin
Tower Griffin is normally a support unit due to its ability to add +2 defense, but with the summoner's boosting effect this card becomes a unit that projects great offensive damage, we will protect it by placing it in the third position.
Tower Griffin es normalmente una unidad de apoyo por su habilidad de añadir +2 de defensa pero con el efecto potenciador del invocador esta carta se vuelve en una unidad que proyecta gran daño ofensivo, la protegeremos ubicándola en la tercera posición.
👾 Fire Spitter
Fire Spitter was the first epic card I bought when I started in Splinterlands more than 3 years ago and even today this card remains highly versatile, its only ability is to fly, this card is dedicated to one thing: doing a lot of ranged damage. and great resistance to melee and range damage.
Fire Spitter fue la primera carta épica que compre cuando comencé en splinterlands hace más de 3 años y aún hoy esta carta sigue siendo altamente versátil, su única habilidad es volar de resto esta carta esta dedicada a una sola cosa: hacer gran cantidad de daño rango y una gran resistencia al daño melé y rango.
👾 Spark Pixies
Spark Pixies is one of the fastest range cards that the fire class has, therefore it has a high evasion rate that allows us to place it in the last position, thus covering our rear. This card also has the stun ability that allows the target to be incapacitated.
Spark Pixies es una de las cartas rango más rápidas que tiene la clase fuego, tiene por tanto una alta tasa de evasión que nos permite colocarla en la última posición cubriendo así nuestra retaguardia. Esta carta cuenta además con la habilidad stun que permite incapacitar al objetivo.
⚔️Strategy and battle lineup/Estrategia y alineación de batalla
When sending the battle we can evaluate the enemy strategy, this was based on using a large amount of damage on the units located in the vanguard and complemented with the Scavo firebolt range unit. These are certainly powerful units, ultimately our opponent intends to finish this fight in the first round itself or leave our lineup so weakened that he can give us the knockout blow in the second round. Let's see which strategy is the winner.
Al enviar la batalla podemos evaluar la estrategia enemiga, ésta se basó es utilizar gran cantidad de daño en las unidades ubicadas en la vanguardia y complementado con la unidad rango Scavo firebolt. Estas son unidades ciertamente potentes, en última instancia nuestro oponente pretende acabar este combate en el mismo primer round o dejar nuestra alineación tan debilitada que pueda darnos el golpe de gracia en el segundo round. Veamos cual estrategia es la ganadora.

💥Round 1💥
We start the first round by giving the first blow with Pixie who successfully incapacitates the tank in the first position, while the rest of our units manage to weaken it.
El primer round lo iniciamos dando el primer golpe con Pixie que incapacita exitosamente al tanque en la primera posición, mientras que el resto de nuestras unidades logra debilitarlo.
💥Rounds 2💥
The second round begins and the earthquake exerts its damage on the enemy units, weakening them, but activating the enrage of the Radiated Brute that eliminates our Spirit Dragon but when it dies it unleashes its redemption ability, weakening the opponent even more. This is where our offensive begins to claim its first victims: Antoid Platoon and Radiated Brute are eliminated, leaving the 2 most dangerous units of the enemy lineup out of the game.
Comienza el segundo round y el terremoto ejerce su daño sobre las unidades enemigas debilitándolos, pero activando el enrage del Radiated Brute que elimina a nuestro Spirit Dragon pero al morir desata su habilidad redención debilitando todavía más al oponente. Aquí es donde nuestra ofensiva comienza a cobrar sus primeras víctimas: Antoid Platoon y Radiated Brute son eliminados dejando fuera del juego a las 2 unidades más peligrosas de la alineación enemiga.
💥Round 3💥
The third round is already the end for our opponent, the earthquake ends with the Venari marksrat, leaving in the first position the only enemy offensive unit that, being ranged, cannot attack from the first position, being eliminated by Pixie and Scavo chemist by Fire Spitter achieving a resounding victory against an opponent that had all its units at the highest level.
El tercer round es ya el final para nuestro oponente, el terremoto acaba con el Venari marksrat dejando en la primera posición la única unidad ofensiva enemiga que al ser rango no puede atacar desde la primera posición, siendo eliminado por Pixie y Scavo chemist por Fire Spitter logrando una victoria contundente ante un oponente que tenía todas sus unidades al máximo nivel.
🐉 Conclusions/Conclusiones
- The Champion League is certainly a highly competitive space and low-mana games represent a huge challenge, particularly if they feature the ruleset earthquake. In this context, the use of low-mana flying units with great speed and attack range becomes an excellent option to face these battles.
- La liga Champion es ciertamente un espacio altamente competitivo y las partidas de bajo mana representan un gran desafío, particularmente si presentan la ruleset earthquake. En este contexto el uso de unidades voladoras de bajo mana con gran velocidad y ataque rango se convierten en una excelente opción para enfrentar estas batallas.
It was a pleasure to share with you my return to the champion league in the wild format and although I still dislike the idea of a paid pass to enjoy my old assets, at least I must admit that they corrected the % of profits, particularly of the glints which is the token in which I have the greatest interest. Fue un gusto compartir con ustedes mi regreso a la liga champion en el formato wild y aunque aún me sigue desagradando la idea de un pase de pago para disfrutar de mis antiguos activos, al menos debo reconocer que corrigieron los % de ganancias, particularmente de los glints que es el token en el que tengo mayor interés.
