Greetings dear Splinterlands community! I welcome you to this post dedicated to the Social media challenge, a space where we share our passion for this project. On this occasion I want to share some of the activities that I have been doing these last few days after the introduction of the season pass in Wild. Let's get started!

🗡️ A new stage in Splinterlands/Una nueva etapa en Splinterlands
Well, as I said, Splinterlands opened the doors to a path that many of us may not be able to follow, I already spoke at length about this matter in a previous post so I will not repeat myself. What I want to share is that I particularly felt a change in my mood to watch and play in the wild format even though I had already purchased the season pass.
Pues bien como dije Splinterlands abrió las puertas a un camino que muchos quizás no podamos acompañar, sobre este asunto ya hablé largo y tendido en un post anterior así que no me repetiré. lo que quiero compartir es que particularmente yo sentí un cambio en mi ánimo de ver y jugar en el formato wild aun cuando ya había comprado el pase de temporada.
I'm at a point where I no longer even care if I earn more or less Sps. I'm interested in glints to continue strengthening my soulbound cards and it was truly disappointing to see how the glints remained the same after the season pass.
Estoy en un punto en el que incluso ya no me interesan si gano más o menos Sps. A mi me interesan los glints para continuar reforzando mis cartas soulbound y fue verdaderamente decepcionante ver como los glints continuaban siendo los mismos después del pase de temporada.
Before the pass I was satisfied with the amount of Sps and Glints but seeing that I have to pay not only the pass but also double the Sps requirements to maintain the Boost, I decided to follow the advice of my clan leader where we agreed that it was not worth the It's a shame to continue in a format in which the reality was that everything remained the same and that the extra amount of sps was a consequence of the supposed exclusion of bot farms.
Antes del pase estaba satisfecho con la cantidad de Sps y Glints pero viendo que tengo que pagar no solo el pase sino además el doble de requerimientos de Sps para mantener el Boost, decidí seguir los consejos de mi lider de clan donde coincidimos que no valía la pena continuar en un formato en el que la realidad era que todo se mantenía igual y que la cantidad extra de sps era consecuencia de la supuesta exclusión de las granjas de bots.
This is how I decided to start exploring the modern format since my strongest cards are from the Chaos Legion edition, I already have almost all my soulbound cards full of gold and I am in a Tier 4 clan which has allowed me to carry almost all of my Gladius at the top of the silver league and some are already reaching the gold levels.
Fue así que decidí comenzar a recorrer el formato moderno ya que mis cartas más fuertes son de la edición Chaos Legion, ya tengo a tope de oro casi todas mis cartas soulbound y estoy en un clan Tier 4 lo que me ha permitido llevar casi todas mis gladius a tope de la liga de plata y algunas ya están pisando los niveles de oro.
With this set of cards I started ranking in modern as a rookie and I'm already reaching silver 1, which is interesting, but the use of these 3 editions of cards: CL, Soulbound and Gladius have allowed me to advance solidly in modern.

⚔️1st Battle/1era Batalla: Pembrook & Isgald⚔️

In this qualifying battle, what will dictate my strategy is the odd card ruleset since this rule favors the use of sneak or opportunistic cards, the latter being my favorites in these battles and a water class gladius stands out particularly: Isgald Vorst. Now, if this card is gladius, how can we use it in a ranked game? Well, the answer is in the summoner that we are going to use: Pembrook Nymph.

🧙 Summoner/ Invocador: Pembrook Nymph
The soulbound summoners that we can obtain in the glint store give us a great advantage and can summon a gladius card on the battlefield thanks to the Conscript ability. The Pembrook Nymph summoner of the water class will allow us to use 1 gladius card of this element, based on this we will build our lineup.
Los invocadores soulbound que podemos obtener en la tienda de glints nos dan una gran ventaja y que pueden invocar una carta gladius en el campo de batalla gracias a la habilidad Conscript. 🎴 Noa The Just
We will use Noa the Just as a tank due to her high evasion level, large amount of life and defense. Although it is not a card that has an attack, we are going to correct that with the next card below.
Usaremos como tanque a Noa the Just por su alta cota de evasión, gran cantidad de vida y defensa. aunque no es una carta que tenga ataque eso lo vamos a corregir con la siguiente carta a continuación.
🎴 Kulu Mastermind
Kulu Mastermind will be our first opportunistic card in our lineup. In addition to its great health damage and resistance to range and melee attacks, this card has the weapons training ability, giving melee damage to the Noa tank in the first position.

Usaremos en la tercera posiciónal Venari marksrat ante la posibilidad de algúna carta con habilidad sniper u oportunista. Con su sacrificio potenciaremos las estadísticas de nuestras cartas ofensivas.
🎴 Isgald Vorst
Our fundamental piece in this battle, Isgald is a gladius card that with the opportunistic ability has a high chance of starting the battle by shedding the first blood and this is important because it will allow it to increase its statistics and be even more powerful, we will place it behind the card martyr to further increase his power.

🎴 Swamp Spitter
Our next card is also soulbound and a very effective one! Swamp Spitter is a ranged attack card that has the ability to repair shields but also deal great damage to cards with more than 12 mana. We will protect this unit by keeping it in fifth position.

🎴 Gargoya Devil
Finally, and to protect our rearguard, we will use Gargoya Devil, with its defense and high evasion due to being a flying unit, this card is ideal to close our lineup.
Por último y para proteger nuestra retaguardia usaremos a Gargoya Devil, con su defensa y alta evasión por ser unidad voladora, esta carta es ideal para cerrar nuestra alineación.
⚔️ Battle/Batalla
🔥 Round 1 & 2
In the first round we realize that the enemy strategy was to opt for magical attacks so speed will be an important element in this battle. We begin by softening the enemy decoy in the last position so that Isgald can give him the finishing blow and thus increase his power. In the second round, although we lost our tank, we managed to get the Periton Regal ashore to be riddled by Swamp Spitter and Gargoya Devil.
En el primer round nos damos cuenta que la estrategia enemiga era optar por ataques mágicos así que la velocidad será un elemento importante en esta batalla. Comenzamos ablandando al señuelo enemigos en la última posición para que Isgald le dé el golpe de gracia y así aumentar su poder. En el segundo round aunque perdimos a nuestro tanque logramos bajar a tierra al Periton Regal para ser acribillado por Swamp Spitter y Gargoya Devil.
🔥 Rounds 3-5
In the third round we eliminate the Spirit Hoarder, empowering Isgal, but the Venari is also eliminated, further increasing the power of our gladius, which now does 7 damage! Finally, in the 5th round, Runemancer is dispatched by an accurate attack from Isgald, leaving our opponent defeated with a range card to finally be eliminated by Gargoya Devil. Next battle!
En el tercer round eliminamos al Spirit Hoarder empoderando a Isgal pero además el Venari es eliminado aumentando más el poder de nuestra gladius que ahora hace 7 de daño!. Finalmente en el 5to round Runemancer es despachada por un certero ataque de Isgald dejando a nuestro oponente derrotado con una carta rango para finalmente ser eliminada por Gargoya Devil. Próxima batalla!

Well friends, we already saw the potential and scalability of a simple common gladius and all the damage it can do, now we are going to see the versatility that a legendary gladius can achieve, one that I particularly feel has been less appreciated: Sola Ranjell.

🎴 Summoner/ Invocador: Franz Ruffmane
Franz Ruffmane as well as Pembrook Nymph were the summoners I used the least, but starting to play in modern has made me appreciate the versatility of these cards. This life summoner, in addition to incorporating a gladius card, increases the defense of our entire lineup by +1. We will use this summoner since it is very possible that they will attack us with range or melee damage cards.
Franz Ruffmane al igual que Pembrook Nymph eran los invocadores que menos usaba, pero comenzar a jugar en moderno me ha hecho apreciar la versatilidad de estas cartas. Este invocador de vida además de incorporar una carta gladius, aumenta la defensa de toda nuestra alineación en +1, usaremos a este invocador ya que es muy posible que nos ataquen con cartas de daño rango o melé.
🎴 Iziar
As all units have the Thorns ability, I opted for a defensive strategy using a tank that resists a large amount of damage, in that sense Iziar is my best option, this card not only resists magic damage but also has the martyr ability, this will allow in If it is eliminated, it will increase the statistics of the card it has adjacent to it.
Como todas las unidades tienen la habilidad Thorns, opté por una estrategia defensiva utilizando un tanque que resista gran cantidad de daño, en ese sentido Iziar es mi mejor opción, esta carta no solo resiste el daño mágico sino que tiene la habilidad mártir esto permitirá en el caso de que sea eliminado aumentará las estadísticas de la carta que tenga adyacente.
🎴 Sola Ranjell
Sola Ranjell is a legendary gladius support card, over time I have managed to upgrade it to level 2 so its function as a support card is double: it regenerates the tank's life and also cures it of negative effects such as poison or affliction. It also has the bloodlust ability so it can increase its damage if it eliminates an enemy card.
Sola Ranjell es una carta gladius legendaria de apoyo, con el tiempo he logrado upgradearla al nivel 2 asi que su función como carta de apoyo es doble: regenera la vida del tanque y también lo cura de aficciones negativas como poison o affliction. También cuenta con la habilidad bloodlust por lo que puede incrementar su daño si elimina a una carta enemiga.
🎴 Venari Crystalsmith
The Iziar + Sola Ranjell strategy is very risky when it comes to battles above 22 mana points, so we will reinforce the resistance of our tank with Venari Crystalsmith to continue healing Iziar in case the damage he receives is excessive.

The following 3 cards are to reinforce our strategy: Adelade Brightwing, in addition to reviving a fallen unit, will keep regenerating the tank's shield while attacking the vanguard, Dr. Blight will apply afflictions mainly poison while remaining invisible and Soul Fiend will allow us to take care of our rearguard if the tank is not able to withstand the damage it receives.
Las siguientes 3 cartas son para reforzar nuestra estrategia: Adelade Brightwing además de revivir una unidad caída, se mantendrá regenerando el escudo del tanque mientras ataca la vanguardia, Dr. Blight aplicara aflicciones principalmente veneno mientras se mantiene invisible y Soul Fiend nos permitira cuidar nuestra retaguardia si el tanque no es capaz de aguantar el daño que reciba.

In the first round Iziar withstood all the damage received thanks to the support of Sola Ranjell and the Venari, although we did not do much damage to the enemy tank, he received Dr. Blight's poison at the end of the turn, which represents a turning point in the battle.
En el primer round Iziar aguantó todo el daño recibido gracias al apoyo de Sola Ranjell y la Venari, aunque nosotros tampoco hicimos mucho daño al tanque enemigo recibió el veneno de Dr. Blight al final del turno lo que representa un punto de inflexión en la batalla.
🔥 Rounds 2
For the third round Windeku and Shadow Snitch are eliminated, the next to fall are Uraeus due to the action of the thorns and Silent Sha-Vi at the hands of Venari Crystalsmith, leaving our opponent with only 2 range units in the fourth round and for the beginning of the Fifth, this same Venari managed to eliminate both the Dhampir Stalker and the Supply Runner in a battle where we managed to keep all our units.
Para el Tercer round Windeku y Shadow Snitch son eliminados, los siguientes en caer son Uraeus por acción de las espinas y Silent Sha-Vi a manos de Venari Crystalsmith dejándo a nuestro oponente con sólo 2 unidades rango en el cuarto round y para el comienzo del quinto éste mismo Venari se las arregló para eliminar tanto al Dhampir Stalker como al Supply Runner en una batalla donde logramos mantener a todas nuestras unidades.

🌊Conclusiones✨
The Soulbound cards are an excellent complement to the modern format, in fact only by using the Chaos Legion edition, which is the most economical not only its packs but also its cards, it is possible together with the soulbound cards to put together a highly competitive deck.
As if that were not enough, the possibility of using soulboun summoners opens up the possibility of using gladius cards in ranked games, which opens up a greater range of possibilities and strategies to progress in the modern format.
Las cartas Soulbound son un excelente complemento para el formato moderno, de hecho solo utilizando la edició Chaos Legion que es la más económica no solo sus packs sino también sus cartas, es posible junto a las cartas soulbound armar un mazo altamente competitivo.
