Good morning , afternoon and evening everybody and welcome to the results of Match Day 3 at the Euros. In this post we will be looking at the scores but more importantly taking selections for the next run of games which will start on Wednesday at 2pm which will give you plenty of time to get your selections into me but first of all let us take a brief look at the games that were played yesterday.
The 2 pm game was Netherlands versus Poland. Even though the Dutch did not have all their own way , they did beat Poland. In the late game England played Serbia and came back with 3 points. Even though the game was disappointing England got the points but the real surprise was the Denmark and Slovenia draw. Denmark had their chances but left Slovenia back into the game and in the end Slovenia should have won the game. A draw here gave people 2 points whoever selected it so the scoreboard has changed alot since yesterday with a couple of users leapfrogging their competitors. @stuartcturnbull and @skanderh have taken the league after backing the draw here which see both users on 7 points. @talesfrmthecrypt and @jmehta are after bouncing straight back again to be up with the leaders and @cryptoandcoffee also goes up the rankings. A few contestants just joined so do not be fooled by their low scores. @bil.prag and @diikaan know their football.
Again I will stress that we are only at the beginning so plenty of points to play for if you would still like to enter.

Selections for the next stage of the Competition.
Most of you have your selections made up until the Tuesday games.
I am now taking selections for the second round of matches in the group stages. If you would like to copy and paste the below in the comments and let me know who you think is going to win or if you think it will be a draw. I have selected the favourites as the home team which means 1 point for a win. If you select a draw and that match ends in a draw you will be rewarded 2 points and if you select the away team and they win you get a whooping 3 points that will propell you up the leaderboard. The 1st run of games so far did not spring too many surprises so let us hope the second round of games will do this.
