Still dreaming

As the season passes it’s halfway point Forest still sit in a champions league position and the fans are still in dream land!

No one could have expected Nuno to perform miracles and turn a relegation haunted squad into contenders but the addition of a couple of players and a steady squad for the first time in years seems to have done the trick.

As the only team to have beaten Liverpool in the first half of the season we have a right to be up there but I must admit that results around the premier league have helped us massively! Who would have expected the Manchester clubs to perform so badly? Can that continue?

We also have the fear of losing key players in the transfer window with Liverpool linked with Morgan Gibbs-White, AC Milan targeting Wood, Man City looking at Aina and eyes on Murilo from around Europe. Although recruitment in the summer gives us hope that we are finally buying the right players for the premier league with signings like Anderson, Morato and key player Milenkovic.

Upcoming fixtures are looking tricky, we haven’t beat Wolves since returning to the premier league, Liverpool will be looking for revenge, Bournemouth are in good form and Southampton, well they need to start winning before they take the Sheep’s record as worst team in History!

If we can beat wolves it will be the first time since 1966/67 season that we have won 6 top flight matches in a row……

Cheers see you next week to see if the dream is still alive!
