Slow start for Tengo Rangers

The beautiful game is well and truly back ....

... and so are Tengo Rangers!

I am of course talking about football and in particular the English Premier League and its fantasy version.

Millions play the game for the banter.

Even on Hive we have a community with prizes for a select few.

Today is the last day of the summer transfer window and I have decided to keep my Free Transfer and not change my squad.

Let's look at that squad...

Tengo's squad of 15

The big news .... I have Haaland AND Salah

Spoiler alert if ever there was one!

Okay let's look at it...

It is a sound squad and I tell you what I have been so damn unlucky with piayers scoring.

Many players have sold Isak, Muniz, Eze and Fernandez because of their poor returns.

However, they were unlucky.

They are staying in my squad and indeed in my team!

So when it comes to the head to heads I lost both fluffing matches, mind you Eze had a perfectly good goal ruled out which would have changed things.

As I said I have been unlucky and I know things will get much better.

I have money invested in Fernades and Isak and they are great players and points will come...

The main thing is I have both Haaland and Salah in my team!

I am playing in two Hive leagues

The Classic League and then Hive Division 2 Head to Head .

The Hive fpl as you can see by the green arrow I am from last week to 53rd!

The Hive Division 2 Head to Head , yep red arrow is a downward postion and still to get off the mark this season!

I am also playing in the Across (ACX) leagues which does feature some Hivians and these are my postions there ...

It is a smaller league than the Hive one, but I am doing better in it! So far so good!

I did pick up a comprehensive victory here though!

Tengo Rangers is at least up and running somewhere!

It's a MArathon not a Sprint

IT is true and especially so in fantasy football. Too many people kneejerk and see some player get a hattrick so of course transfer that person in and do they score like that again ... eh no!

Last year it was Ferguson at Brighton in GW4 I think ... Fizzled out ... enough said!
