Hello everyone welcome to my blog🤗.
This week's topic is a very interesting one. I want to share my perspectives on family.
The people you can confide in and trust, as well as those who love and support you, make up your family.
Everyone that loves, trusts, and supports you, regardless of biological connections, is family to me.
I was shocked the day my mother revealed to me and my siblings that we weren't related to my "Cousin" as I usually tell people.
Every Christmas, Usually travel home to celebrate. We got to know our cousins well because we always celebrated Christmas together. In fact, my father buys clothes and shoes for all of us, and we all lived together like siblings because we lived in the same compound in my father's house in the village.
My father took on the role of father figure for all of us after my cousins lost their father, providing for their welfare, education, and necessities.
I can't recall what led to the finding that we weren't related by blood because my mother didn't want to inform us about it because she feels we are family. And we have always lived together with some much love and support for one another.
When my mother revealed that we weren't related but that our connections were merely those of Landlords and tenants, I was quite taken aback.

They are tenants in my father's house, and they happen to speak the same language as my parents. They were not even from the same town or state.
The news about our relationship made no difference because we all view ourselves as family. They are my top relatives, and I am closer to them than to my biological cousins.
Family is indeed at heart; it goes beyond biological relationships.
