Hi friends, all of you who are always loyal to this community. How are you? May the best always be with you and continue to develop as you wish. On this occasion, I would like to share some snacks that are often found in my area, especially when Eid arrives. Here are some photography of the snack.

Peas used to be sold fresh, but now they are widely sold as a delicious and crunchy snack in my area. One of the snacks is fried peas as you can see above.

One of Aceh's traditional snacks that has survived to this day is keukarah or karah cake. These pastries that have a sweet and crunchy taste are the perfect companion when relaxing while enjoying a cup of coffee typical of Tanah Rencong.

At a glance, the physical appearance of the keukarah is like a white-brown layered net. At a glance, the shape is similar to chunks of dried vermicelli, because it is made from the same material as vermicelli, namely rice flour. It's just that, keukarah is darker in color, with a distinctive caramel aroma, which comes from the granulated sugar added to the dough. The combination of these two ingredients makes these cookies have a crunchy texture and sweet taste. Because of its unique shape, this cake is often used as a souvenir that can be taken anywhere.

The presentation of this cake is often found at weddings as a delivery from the man to the woman. Apart from that, before holidays or traditional events and Kenduri Aceh, this cake is also never absent from serving snacks. The presentation of this snack can also be found at welcoming guests or as a tea companion.

So little information about this snack and photography. Hopefully useful and you like it. We will meet in the next post. Best wishes to you all.
