Herkese doğanın içinden merhaba. Bu sefer bir kamp değil ama toprakla ağaçla ilgili bir iş için şehirden uzaklaştık.
Gaziantep diyince akla ilk gelen tabiki fıstık. Baklava,kuruyemiş başta olmak üzere yemek sektörünün her yerinde fıstık var. Hatta salamın içine bile koyuluyor. Tüketim olarak bu kadar çok üründe olduğu içinde haliyle oldukça değerli bir ürün. Değerli olmasını sağlayan bir diğer etken de bir fıstık ağacının en az 10 senede ürün vermesi. Tam verime ise 20. seneden sonra başlıyor. Bizim dedelerimizden kalma küçük bahçelerimiz var ama yeni 3 sene önce diktiğimiz yerlerde var.

Bakımı da zahmetli bir iş yorucu aynı zamanda. Ama şehirden uzaklaşıp toprağa basmak bizim gibiler için bulunmaz bir nimet.

Bu ağçaların küçük olduğuna bakmayın 4 sene oldu. Her sene 4 kere sulandı,gübrelendi ve sürüldü. 5 sene sonra verim almayı bekliyoruz. 450 tane ağaç yaklaşık ağaç başına 200 litre su tanker ile tek tek taşınıyor.

Yazın 50 derece sıcağın altında bu iş daha da zor oluyor.

Ağaç büyüdükçe işleri daha çok oluyor. Ağacın aşılanması aşının kontrol edilmesi gerekli. Yetişkin oldukça daha çok suya ihtiyaç oluyor. Hasat zamanı dallara zarar vermeden nazikçe toplanıyor. Tabi topladığınız fıstığın birde kalitesine göre sıralanması gerekli. Kuruyemişte kullanılacak olan önce kurutuluyor sonra soyuluyor en sonda çıtlatılıyor. Tabi bu işler için artık makinalar var dalından aldığınız ürünü sıralayıp soyup çıtlatıyor. Fabrikalarda bu işlemler kolay ama makinaya ulaşımınız yoksa elinizle tek tek yapmalısınız.

Köyde gözünüz alabildiğince fıstık ekili. Hasat zamanında başlı başına bir sektör oluyor. Dışardan çalışmaya gelen işçilerle nüfus iki katına çıkıyor.

İşin maddi yanı bir yana manevi olarakta bunlarla uğraşmak sizi dinlendiriyor. Çocukluğumuzda dokunduğumuz oynadığımız toprakla yeniden buluşmak insana iyi hissettiriyor. Fıstıklarımız yetiştiğinde sizlere ikram ederiz umarım.

Hello everyone from nature. This time it's not a camp, but we went away from the city for a job related to soil and trees.
Peanut is the first thing that comes to mind when Gaziantep is mentioned. There are pistachios all over the food industry, especially baklava and nuts. It's even put in salami. It is a very valuable product as it is in so many products as consumption. Another factor that makes it valuable is that a pistachio tree yields at least 10 years. Full yield starts after the 20th year. We have small gardens inherited from our grandfathers, but there are new places we planted 3 years ago.

Its maintenance is also a laborious and tiring job. But getting away from the city and stepping on the ground is a blessing for people like us.

Don't worry that these trees are small, it's been 4 years. It was watered, fertilized and plowed 4 times a year. We expect to get yield after 5 years. 450 trees are transported one by one by 200 liters water tanker per tree.

In summer, under 50 degrees heat, this job becomes even more difficult.

The bigger the tree, the more work it has to do. Vaccination of the tree is necessary to control the vaccine. As adults, more water is needed. It is collected gently at harvest time without damaging the branches. Of course, the pistachios you collect must be sorted according to their quality. What will be used in nuts is first dried, then peeled, and finally cracked. Of course, there are now machines for these works, they sort the product you get from the branch, peel and crack it. In factories, these operations are easy, but if you do not have access to the machine, you must do it by hand.

Peanuts are planted in the village as far as the eye can see. At harvest time, it becomes an industry on its own. With the workers coming to work from abroad, the population doubles.

Dealing with them spiritually as well as the material side of the job relaxes you. It feels good to be reunited with the soil we touched and played with in our childhood. I hope we will offer you our peanuts when they grow.
