In this post I want to share a story about my experience enjoying Red Velvet drinks by the lake. As you know, I really like and often visit Takengon City. I like this city, I like to enjoy the atmosphere and beautiful nature in this city.
If usually people often enjoy coffee and espresso in the city of Takengon City, this time we also try types of drinks containing espresso. This is Red Velvet's drink, if usually Red Velvet is made in the form of food or cake, this time it is made into a drink. Something unique, combining a blend of red velvet chocolate in a brew of milk and espresso.
Basically, red velvet is a type of red sponge cake mixed with cheese. Likewise with this drink, reddish brown powder is clearly visible in a glass that is brewed with hot water simultaneously with milk and espresso. This red color probably comes from food coloring, mixed in the chocolate which has flavors of buttermilk, cocoa, coffee.
Red Velvet in this drink is made from red velvet flavored powder. But the texture of this powder is softer and smoother, so it can melt easily in boiling hot water. Enjoying this drink is perfect in a cool natural atmosphere like on the edge of this lake.
The taste of steeping chocolate, milk and espresso smells strong, this is what tempts our sense of smell and tongue. Even though you can't drink coffee, you can try drinking it with a little coffee mixture, just to taste. This drink is served in the shape of a love leaf, a latte flavor placed on top, very beautiful to look at.
