Hi Guys! Merhaba Millet! Hallo Leute!

The Maiden's Tower, also known as Kız Kulesi in Turkish, is an iconic landmark situated on a small islet off the coast of Istanbul, Turkey. The tower is steeped in history and legends that stretch back over 2,500 years.

The exact date of the construction of Maiden's Tower is unknown, but the earliest known reference to it dates back to the 5th century BC. It has served many purposes throughout history, from a fortress guarding the entrance to the Bosphorus strait, to a lighthouse, a customs checkpoint, and even a quarantine station for cholera patients.

One of the most interesting legends surrounding the tower is the story of a king who learned from a prophecy that his daughter would die from a snake bite on her 18th birthday. In an attempt to prevent this tragedy, the king had the tower built in the middle of the sea and locked his daughter in there. However, on the girl's 18th birthday, a basket of fruit was brought to her by boat, and a snake hiding in the fruit fatally bit her.
