Today I went to a local office supply store called Staples.
It's a big chain, and there's one close by.
Tammy needed some inventory tags for the furniture and smalls she sells in her shop down in Denver. My son Kai and I were also in tow, since we'd all 3 just come from family breakfast.
Good ol' planners. 😀
While I was in the store I came across a section of "planners" - the small (or sometimes LARGE) notebooks with pages and section specifically laid out to help you keep organized.
Many of them are laid out in calendar format since we're largely thought to plan linearly across time. (Try using mindmaps sometimes instead.)
I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a couple photos of these for my post here, to show that people are obsessed with planning. Please remember that this post is written by a man who has a 3 Steps process that begins with 1. Plan. 😃
From life goals to shopping lists people like to plan.
Over the past little while that I have been on the blockchain I've noticed that people track all kinds of things and make plans of all kinds.
There's lots of different ways to plan and track what you do, and what works for me may not work for you and same in reverse.
So what do we do?
Let me know how you plan your day\live\project!
Why? So I can prioritize the material I creat for the PLAN portion of my 3 Steps.
- Do you use checklists?
- Do you have a system you use? Any specific sites like Trello or Miro or mindmaps?
- Do you track using pen and paper or online?
- Which is better (online vs. pen and paper) and why?
- Do you use S.M.A.R.T. goal or something else?
I'd love to know how you plan stuff. No kidding.
As I plan out my P.A.R. outline and articles, I want a sense of what others think is most needed in the PLAN portion of my 3 Steps. Some people may want more "grand" project-level how-to's while others may want more simplified planning such as how to use SMART goals.
Leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts.
Peace and Love,

P.S. Don't consider my posts financial advice. Do your own research. I write for entertainment.
Oh, one more thing: I have a 3 Steps mailing list that I am in the mists of converting over to this new format and I'd love it if you would consider signing up and watching my 3 Steps plan blossom.
