How time passes by so fast, how nights and days change so quickly. Realized while staring at this picture.
It's my niece, @asiaymalay daughter holding my son before she leaves to go back home. I remember years ago, it was her I am holding in my arms 😥. My sister left her at home in our care as she works in the city, was eight months old. How she would love to cuddle with me, gave her a piggyback when she started studying in prep. Would even cry upon waking up and not finding me at her side. Yet look at now? 😰 Baby no more but rather an adult who could decide for herself. Not only that but she is the one taking care of my son now. That reminds me how old I am 🤣!
Speaking of my son, yesterday he celebrated his first milestone for reaching a month old. As what is in trend now, I've been thinking of having a photoshoot to document this sweet memories. However, since leaving home to go to a studio was not practical. not easy to travel with a baby and it was expensive. That is why I decided to do DIY.
The Props
First in line was the custome. What should my baby wear?
After some time scrolling in an online shop, I found this.
Theme was supposed to be something athletic. Yet, upon the arrival of the clothes I found out it was too big for my baby. Without a choice, I chose these terno instead.
I also ordered this online.
Next, I bought a rectangle board where I could assemble letters to write what the celebration was all about.
Also, a white fur fabric to be used as a background. Sister in-law cooked pancit and bilo-bilo for our snacks but I didn't include it here. Just the cake.
The photos
My baby was sleeping, yet woke him up for this no wonder he was in a bad mood 🤣
I tried several times but he kept on crying so I decided to cuddle him for a while nursing.
Grumpy a little bit but at least not crying!
Hey baby! I was soothing him for a while to brighten up the mood and somehow it paid off.
Smiling a little bit now, yet he almost mess up with the cake 😆
If it happened that you came across in my previous blogs, then maybe you had an idea that our first month was not easy. It was so challenging that it included several trips at the hospital and medication.
However, I am happy and at ease now as he is better as per his Pediatrician during our last visit. Not only that he started to gain back the weight he lost! 👏.
Few more days and more sleepless nights I know he will be stronger! Of course my baby is a fighter!
