The variety of flowers I can find at Reader Rocks Gardens goes well beyond what I could capture in a single visit. I like to get a high level of detail, so spending more time with each flower I encounter is necessary to get both the exposure I like and catching angles that help make the image more appealing. I have had enough instances of thinking I have some shots I like only to find that once I look at them on my monitor at home, I should have taken more time to be sure.
It can be very rewarding to get some interesting flower images with a macro lens, like exploring the inner structure of these flowers, as they have some really delicate features that are really eye-catching.
