Altering Its Natural Beauty for My Own Satisfaction: Filtered but Real!

I wish I have the skills to take a photo beautifully, where it's beauty was emphasized rather than it's dullness. Whenever I take a photo, I can't be satisfied with it sometimes because I can't fully capture its beauty. My eyes can see that beauty, but when I take a shot using a camera, the beauty I saw wasn't really captured. I sometimes feel so frustrated because of that, but I just give up on capturing that beauty. Because no matter what I do, I can't really get it because of the low-end camera I have. Or maybe it's really just about the skills and your knowledge about photography.

My knowledge about photography is still low, I mean, I think you can't even call it knowledge. There's really a lot to know about photography, but I only know a few. Everyone can take a photo, but not anyone can take a magnificent one. Something like, in one glance, you can already tell what a lovely artwork they are, it's not a painting, but you can still tell its value. We can easily snap one image, but photography is really not just all about that. It's a complicated one, but if we want, we can study it and maybe become a professional. But anyway, the real reason I take photos is because of the moment and stories attached to them.

It's a bonus when the outcome is rather better than what I actually intended it to be. I'm not a professional, just a wannabe who loves to take photos of beautiful things, places, and happy moments. And, you really don't need to be a professional to capture happy moments, no? Just the people and the place, I think that's enough. Still, I want to take a beautiful photo. That's why sometimes I also made a little effort when taking some. They are not the best photo, but for me it is. You know I'm always excited whenever I upload a photo here. I didn't say anything special in those photos, but when people notice it, I can't help but feel good because of it.

And even if I failed to capture one's image beauty, the beauty of one's place, the flowers, the trees, a plant, or even a moment will forever be marked in my head. But, even if that's the case, that doesn't mean I will just capture it recklessly. With the right timing and when no one's watching (≧▽≦), ehermmm, I think we can share better pictures. Seriously though, the result of my shot will depend on the people's surrounding me. As a shy me, I can't really just take photos everywhere. It's different though when no one knows me and when I am wearing my favorite black cap and black mask. <( ̄︶ ̄)>

By the way, I also edit my captured images sometimes. Just enhancing them or lowering their brightness, there are times that I also change it's tone, brilliance, and sharpness. I like it when some photos look different when I apply them. It's amazing how a simple edit can make a big impact in one photo. Some used amazing apps to do that, but as for me, I just used the built-in editor on my camera. How about you?

You captured those moments well. Sometimes I edit my photos, too, especially when the colors are low quality. When that happens, Lightroom is the place to go. Your case here is relatable, I'm also shy taking shots in public. 😂

Thanks Ayane-tan, uwu. But Lightroom is a big app ata no? It's just hard to take a photo in a crowd talaga no, baka isipin professional photographer us hahahaha

Manually curated by brumest from the @qurator Team. Keep up the good work!

Thank ypu so much @qurator team and @brumest 🤩🤩🤩✨

Worry not, your snaps are great :)

And yes, we don't need to be professional to capture moments hehe. I think as long as we enjoy what we see and do, then it's okay. We can learn to improve though 😉 Like you, I do light edits on the pictures I take. No special software or application, just the editor on my phone or on the computer :D

Yiehhhh, thank you ☺️☺️🙉

Right, let's improve everyday as we explore it more too. Pero some who use application, yong maganda nilang shot lalo pang gumaganda. Ang galing no. Uwu

Yes, let's do that :) And oo, lalo yung sa nag eedit sa lightroom.

I find it difficult and frustrating sometimes. I see something and think I want the photo to look like what I see with my eyes but no it's no where close sometimes. Another is when I look in mirror and think I look ok but I take a selfie and everything I didn't see in the mirror is in the photo 😂

These photos look good though Ruffa. Maybe we need to be critics of own photography to get better at it.

I do quite a few edits but only what's available on phone. Lightening yes, cropping yes, enlarging yes and a few others.

Hahahahs, I can relate to that selfie thing. Like why we look okay on the mirror but when take a selfie 😆😆🙉. The mirror is playing with our heart and mind, lolol.

Thank youuuu, it really makes me feel good when I receive that kind of compliments to my photos hihi

The built-in editor is super duper helpful talaga no. Uwu

I've thought for a long time it's the device some. Still haven't bought a real camera yet though I want. Mirror Mirror on the wall why the selfies differ from all, hehe

photography is 75% post processing.😉

these are good. 😁

Ehehe, thanks demoooooo 🙉

I think you did an awesome job, madam Ruffee 👍👍👍

Yiehhhhh, kaya? Hihi. Thank you, sana makapunya pa sa ibang lugar para ma test if kaya kong lumevel up, charrrr, hahaha
