So we just returned home after 2 nights on the beautiful Lady Elliott island which was a quick getaway for a suprise birthday holiday for my mum. And she loved it!!
From the eco cabin that we stayed in it was a very short walk. Probably 25meters to the stunning lagoon.
This is the pathway to the lagoon.
The lagoon is on the eastern side of the island and is home to an abundant amount of marine life including turtles, black tip sharks, octopus and so much more!
This photo was taken at high tide.
At low tide most of the coral bombies are sticking out of the water.
