Snapper rocks Queensland Australia

in #hive-1198452 days ago

Snapper rocks is a world famous beach break located on the border of Queensland and New South Wales Australia.

But unfortunately today the waves were not as crazy as they normally get here. So it was a nice little break to play around on the surfboard.

Snapper rocks is known for producing one of the world longest right hand rides in the world. Breaking anywhere around 600 to 700 meters long!
And when it's pumping the waves reach 10ft in height.

This shot I took from point danger over looks Snapper rocks and the skyscraper city in the back ground is the famous Gold Coast. Australias version of Las Vegas some people say.
Or as I like to say, the home of fake tits and real assholes haha

Nice view across the bay, at least your coastline gets sizeable waves to ride with long stretches of white beaches.

Yes we are very spoilt with most of our coast line in Australia is white sand. And this surf break is one of the best in the world!

We have stunning coastline all around, prefer well away from busy spaces to enjoy to the full!

Pity along our specific region ongoing ecoli problems which we never thought about twenty years ago....

Yes it's always better to be away from the busy spaces!
Ahh that's not good to hear at all. Hope they can get the ecoli problem under control 🤞🤞

Would be great if a lot of problems here were solved, alas no freedom to walk free or enjoy our beautiful country as we once did.

I have never seem it from this angle. Great shot, it must be the way you have zoomed in as I have walked from the green frog to Point Danger many times.

Cheers mate!
It is actually at the top of froggy beach at point danger. It was a little zoomed in this shot.
h
Here is another shot with wide angle so you can see the spot 🙂
