Greetings to all Hivians and the amazing Music Zone community!
I welcome you to my page. My name is @cuteboi, and I am truly grateful for your support always.
This will be my first entry in this community, and I am so delighted to be part of Week 120, Round 3 of the Hive Music Festival. For this round, I will be singing a cover of the song Do Something New in My Life, with @oluthomas accompanying me on the keyboard.
I chose this song for the week as a way of giving thanks to God. Song originally sang by Pastor Paul Thangiah. The song is a heartfelt cry, asking God to do something new in our lives. Looking at the world around us today the challenges, suffering, kidnappings, and the increasing presence of ritualists, it is clear that we need divine intervention.
But in the midst of it all, we thank God that none of us are victims and I strongly believe you're not too, and we continue to pray for Him to bring transformation in our lives, in our country, and especially in the hearts of our leaders. Here in Nigeria, our leaders are not helping matters; they keep accumulating wealth for themselves and their families while the people suffer. But one thing remains true: we serve a God who sees everything. All we can do is call on Him, and He will answer us.
Let’s keep hope alive, knowing that everything will eventually work out for our good. God has promised never to leave nor forsake us, and I believe He is already doing something new, something beautiful, remarkable, and tangible in our lives, in Jesus’ name.
