once again everyone welcome to my blog on Hive music festival week 123 round 3. I hope everyone I having a wonderful week, as we have come to the end of the week in order not to miss this week's entry due to my tight schedule in school. After a lot of deliberation on which song to sing I picked this one Desperate people by Micah Stampley.
I have known this song for quite a long time but I didn't really know the lyrics of the song fully till now I had to learn it although it wasn't that hard though when I started it to read the lyrics I just got the hold of it and that's how I was able to sing it well with some practice for a few days.
The song talks about ones self being tiered of his or her status quo in life in their spiritual life and so on, using the mantle's of Elijah, Paul and Timothy the way the power of God manifested in their lives we want to see it in our lives too, because desperate people do despret things to get there but without God's help it won't be possible so we will seek his power his presence and his grace, we won't stop pursuing till we see him face to face.
I sang and played this song using the key of G Sharp major the one I originally heard was in the key of A major but I realised that it was a little high for me so I took it down a semitone to G sharp major.
