This is actually my first time posting in this community.
Today I decided to share the ingredients and procedures I used to prepare a quick breakfast for myself which is pancakes but in a Nigerian way (the flatness)
Ingredients for one person:
Flour
Sugar
Milk
Flavour (optional)
Egg
Procedures:
I scooped three spoonsful of flour into a bowl
I added two spoonsful of sugar to the bowl but it depends on how you like it
I separated the egg white from the yolk and whisked the white to get this then I poured it into the bowl of flour and turned the mixture
In another bowl I poured in my milk then the flavor which is one spoonful and turned it
I whisked the yolk and poured it to my bowl of milk
I then poured the mixture into my bowl of flour and mixed the whole mixture to a fine batter with no clumps inside
Before frying it I decided to add pepper because I like the taste of it in my pancakes
After heating the pan with little oil I poured the batter into the pan in little quantity till it was finished
I waited till I got a golden brown color while frying before flipping its sides
When it was done I had the flat pancakes (though I had no spread on it) with chilled juice which I prepared the previous day
This meal can be eaten for breakfast, brunch and even dinner considering how light it feels. It can also be quickly prepared and little spending is required for it.
All photos are mine and it was captured using Redmi A3X. Thank you
