Hoy les compartiré una exquisita receta de arvejas guisadas, les cuento que en casa nos encanta acompañar las comidas con granos y en ésta oportunidad preparé para mi familia arvejas de granos grandes, por ser grandes tuve que remojarlas un día antes antes de colocarlas al fuego.

Today I will share with you an exquisite recipe for stewed peas, I tell you that at home we love to accompany meals with grains and this time I prepared peas with large grains for my family, because they are large I had to soak them a day before before placing them on the fire.

Lo mejor de todo es que es una fuente de hierro ideal para toda la familia así que les cuento cómo más preparo.

Ingredientes:

  • 2 tazas de arvejas previamente remojadas.
  • 60 ml de aceite vegetal.
  • 1 cebolla.
  • 2 ajies.
  • Onoto molido.
  • 3 dientes de ajo.
  • Sal al gusto.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of previously soaked peas.
  • 60 ml of vegetable oil.
  • 1 onion.
  • 2 peppers.
  • Ground onoto.
  • 3 garlic cloves.
  • Salt to taste.

Procedimiento:

Paso 1
Retiramos el agua donde estaban en remojo, y colocamos los granos a cocinar con una nueva agua por hora y media hasta que esten blandas.

Step 1
Remove the water where they were soaking, and place the grains to cook with a new water for an hour and a half until they are soft.

Paso 2

Cortamos los aliños pequeños y los colocamos a sofreir en un sarten con el aceite y el onoto molido.

Step 2
Cut the dressings small and place them to fry in a pan with the oil and the ground onoto.

Paso 3
Una vez que los aliños estén sofritos, los vertemos a las lentejas ya cocidas y los dejamos cocinar unos 6 min más y colocamos el punto de sal a nuestro gusto.

Step 3
Once the dressings are fried, we pour them over the already cooked lentils and let them cook for about 6 more minutes and add the point of salt to our liking.

Por último servimos nuestras cremosas y deliciosas le tejas.

Finally we serve our creamy and delicious tejas.
