How spicy level have you tasted? Does it make your cheeks flush with surrender, or does it challenge you to finish it?
I grew up in a family that was crazy about the spicy taste. Since childhood, we competed to finish a bowl of noodles with a spicy, red-hot sauce!
For us, spicy taste is the cure for our dizzy feeling after we get home from school, after thinking about dizzying lessons. I'm used to following the routine of my sisters who like to eat with spicy sauce, even, it's not every day. It's like a special ritual when we have a bad mood or are very dizzy and tired.
I like the spicy taste sensation that makes me challenged to eat it and seems to drive away fatigue and sleepiness.
So this time I bought frozen food products, traditional meatball products which are quite popular here. Because it is quite popular, it is available with different brands, but with the same spicy concept and presentation.
I bought it online in my city. I paid $2. The packaging also looks professional, even though this is a local product from a home-based business.
On the back of the package, there is also a section on how to present this meatball product. Quite practical, like we will serve instant noodles.
Aci/Kanji Meatballs
Bakso Aci, bakso means meatballs. Aci in Indonesian is kanji, or tapioca flour. So actually these meatballs are made from tapioca flour mixed with special spices as well as chicken or beef bones.
Meatball Aci comes from West Java. What makes it popular, of course, is the spicy taste sensation. Also served with various toppings according to taste, and lime on top.
SERVING METHOD
Packages are available with complete meatballs, spices, and toppings. The meatballs have been repackaged in a special plastic without air so that their storage life is longer.
How to serve it is very easy. I followed the serving instructions on the packaging.
At first, I boil the water. Then I add the meatballs and other toppings and boil them for 5 minutes.
I am quite satisfied with this product. The meatballs are delicious compared to other brands that I've tried before. Even though it's frozen food, it still feels fresh when I serve it. And I will definitely buy this product next time. I will enjoy it in times when I really need a spicy intake of madness that makes my mind not lazy!
