It's really exciting when we find our passion in the places we visit.
One of the reasons I enjoy visiting new restaurants or cafes is because I want to get new inspiration from various foods that I may have never tasted before.
Some of them amazed me, some of them gave me bad experiences but they are still valuable lessons in life. This time, I will share the good one. About a nice place that amazes me and makes me feel happy!
This is Kuko Lola restaurant. I found this restaurant just by accident. Not in my intention but yeah no expectations can be a truly great moment. The luxury restaurant. Indeed an expensive one but I don't feel like getting lost inside because I love all of the things in that restaurant 😊
In the past, I just shared the awesome Kuko Lola's design. For today, I will focus on talking about the food and beverage served at restaurants in Batam City.
My Culinary World Is Here
I say that this restaurant is my culinary world because in the end I found a place that serves food with good food plating techniques that tend to amaze me with admiration. The things I like so far I enjoy posting my recipes.
Not only is the plating amazing, of course Kuko Lola* serves delicious flavors that make me really not want to forget anything about this restaurant.
I'm glad that I was finally able to find a restaurant so I don't feel like my plating skills are weird. Yeep, some people around me say that my food and the way I plate it are strange. But I don't bother with that because I know, they say that just because they don't understand what I'm doing. Indeed, it will be difficult to understand things that are not within their habits.
I'm happy that Kuko Lola* seems to give me approval that food plating is an art worth doing ❤️❤️❤️
Free Appetizers
Whoa, I got free appetizers without prior notice. So, I really didn't expect their excellent service.
I got 2 savory buns, served with chili sauce. Whoa, honestly these are the best savory buns I've ever eaten! Without chili sauce, they also taste delicious!
Buns with no filling but rich in taste. Kuko Lola* brings us to the beginning of an already astonishing treat! I can't wait for the continuation of the dishes here.
Spiced Fish With Roasted Cauliflowers
A main course that took me on an exciting new journey. The favorite plating is present on this main menu serving plate.
An Indonesian dish served attractively like a western menu. Spiced fish, with creamy cauliflower, roasted cauliflower with curry sauce! Sounds like an interesting combination.
So far, some people who see me making roasted cauliflower will feel strange, but this restaurant has proven that what I have cooked is not strange at all!
Also, all the flavors of the elements in the dish blend perfectly. Added authentic and delicious curry sauce! Aaaaaaa, I love it, much, much more!
Mind-Blowing Coconut Moctail
In closing, I prefer a mocktail rather than dessert because I feel like I don't have any more space in my stomach, lol! 😅
This coconut moctail 🥥 was my first experience and made a good impression!
Not just coconut mocktails in general. This drink is actually coconut cold brew, coffee with a quite strong taste but served with a mixture of orange juice and mint syrup.
I was happily surprised at how much of a fun mocktail this was to drink as a farewell to this amazing restaurant! I love how they combine cold brew coffee with authentic coconut and orange flavors!
This was a very impressive experience and made me not give up on continuing to create food with attractive presentations! See you on my culinary trip!
