Green chili seasoning can be used as an alternative for those of you who want to enjoy spicy food but don't like red chili.
The baskets of eggs in the market caught my attention. Not because of chicken eggs or duck eggs. But other types of eggs. I am interested in seeing quail eggs. It's a small egg but holds a big memory for me.
Have you ever eaten Quail Eggs before? I can't remember the last time I ate Quail Eggs. During childhood, Quail Eggs were popularly sold as snacks after school. Quail Eggs are sold boiled, but not peeled. Then in my childhood, I and my little friends would compete to peel Quail Eggs at that time. Peeling Quail Eggs is fun, and tricky too. If Quail Eggs are peeled improperly, the edible portion of the egg will be wasted along with the eggshell. So it's very challenging.
Even when I was very young, I found Quail Eggs in the wild or forest near my house. In the past, here we could easily find delicious food ingredients from nature without buying them. Now, everything has changed. Like it or not, we have to grow and develop what we have been hard to get naturally from nature.
Well, Quail Eggs are suitable as an alternative for those of you who want to eat eggs but with quick bite sizes. With mini size, it can avoid us from feeling sick or too full.
Quail Eggs are suitable as side dish menus. Usually mixed with other ingredients such as tofu, tempeh, or small shrimp.
In the recipe that I will share this time, I use tempeh as a compliment because a few days ago I just ate tofu. So tempeh is the right choice for me this time.
Why Green Chillies Seasoning?
For those of you who often see my cooking blog, you must have seen that I often use red chilies instead of green chilies. This time I did not use red chili.
Actually, using green chilies is a tricky thing. Green chili has an uncomfortable taste when mixed with the wrong ingredients (I find it difficult to explain the taste in English words). Green chili has a spicy that is not too strong.
Well, for seasoning Quail Eggs, I'm used to using green chilies. So this time I will share the recipe for Quail Eggs and tempeh with green chilies seasoning.
I also told my mother that I would cook Quail Eggs. My mother was very excited because she had not enjoyed Quail Eggs in a long time.
I hope you guys will enjoy my simple recipe this time, which is inspired by my happy childhood. Stay tuned.
