Staycation at a hotel means it's time to reward yourself with delicious food! It means a lot especially if the hotel you stay at has good service and quality.
This is my first time staying at Santika Dyandra Hotel. I was surprised because they turned out to have quality that is equal to a 5-star hotel.
In fact, I think for now, because the price I paid for this hotel is not more expensive than the 5-star hotel I used to stay at. However, the facilities they offer for food are very good.
For the type of room I booked, I got free tea time which was served in a buffet style. That means, I can choose food and drinks as much as I want from the buffet. What a pleasant surprise!
At first, I didn't believe I could get free tea time. Because usually only breakfast is free. But this was a pleasant surprise full of blessings! Let me take you around the cafe where I enjoyed free snacks and tea!
The Corner
I was amazed by the neatness and beauty of the corner. As soon as I entered, my eyes fell on the corner which was attractively designed.
They use traditional accessory presentations that remind me of the activity of drinking coffee at my grandmother's house in the past.
The corner is for serving various types of tea and coffee. Various types of milk are also available. Using a cart to present various types of drinks.
You see on a cart. There is a classic lamp, with enamel cups with green and a little white patterns. The classic lamp and enamel cups remind me of the fun times in the past when electricity had not yet arrived in my area. We would drink tea with family using enamel cups with patterns like that. With classic lamps like the ones in the corner. A nostalgic corner.
Then, a waitress came to me. She asked me what kind of drink I wanted to drink. She explained in detail what drinks were available. So, for this tea drinking session, I chose Ginger tea drink.
The waiter also offered condensed milk to complement the ginger tea so that it wouldn't be too spicy, and I agreed. 😊☕
Snacks
Not only a complete range of tea and coffee drinks. This hotel also serves a variety of snacks that are suitable for tea or coffee.
There is a tempting choice of croissants, with a choice of quality butter complements.
Next, there are fritters that are beautifully presented in hotel style. Spring rolls served with salad and mayonnaise, garnished with microgreens and raisins. A complete selection ❤️
What I like about the presentation of these snacks is the portions of food that are in the style of quick bites, with pieces that fit in the mouth. It avoids someone not finishing the food, and avoids food being wasted.
Also, the food is presented attractively. Then, I arrange some of my chosen snacks on a serving plate. And then, I add sauce garnishes on the plate as much as I can. Not bad. 😊
I enjoy ginger tea with some delicious snacks. It really feels like a worthy reward for my body that wants to forget about working in my garden.
The View
In addition to the delicious food and drink choices and the various views around this place for us to enjoy, the section is also very amazing. What's the point of just enjoying the pleasure without a good view, right?
I enjoyed the view around this hotel until it got dark. Sipping warm ginger tea. Devouring delicious quick bites! Giving me a new taste experience, which can inspire me to create food menus for my family at home. 😊
Amazing garden view! Various fresh plants decorate the garden decoration.
There is also a pond with fountains whose sounds soothe the mind. When the lights are turned on, the light becomes dim and romantic 😊
I leaned my head on my husband's shoulder. And we chatted about many things. Including our desire to expand our garden, also expanding the possibility for us to be able to share the harvest with many people.
Well, when we were going to have dinner, we got up from our place and looked around the pool area. It was almost completely dark. But we could still see the soothing atmosphere of the pool.
In addition to the pool area, there is also an outdoor space that is usually used for outdoor parties. From here, I can see the view of the skyscrapers.
At night, the lights of the tall buildings will create a beautiful romance. Right?
