Walking into the garden is one way to awaken to fond childhood memories, of growing up in a natural environment close to nature.
The thing I'm grateful for is growing up in the countryside when I was little. The outskirts of the village that haven't even been touched by electric lighting when I was little.
My childhood taught me to accept life as it is. I was always taught by my late father to make something simple into something new-which evokes new enthusiasm.
Oh, I miss my late father. One moment in between, I miss eating fresh cacao fruit. In the past, my father often took me to a wild forest overgrown with cacao trees.
In addition to being eaten, cacao seeds can later make money at a fairly expensive price today, but only if the cacao beans are dry.
In the past, wild cacao trees in the forest helped our family's economy. And it used to be easy to find cacao behind the houses around where I live. Unlike today, it is very difficult to find cacao if it is not planted on plantations.
So I miss the moment to eat fresh cacao fruit directly from the tree. Coincidentally, my friend invited me to visit his garden.
I was very excited because there was a cacao tree in the garden. Without thinking, I followed my friend to walk to his big garden.
Besides cacao trees, there are also coconut trees, banana trees, and papaya trees, and more!
I really enjoyed walking in the garden before the sun went down. While walking I hoped that the cacao trees in the garden were ripe and ready to be harvested.
Finding Ripe Cacao Fruits
I was really pleasantly surprised. I found ripe cacao fruits. 2 large cacao fruit ripe on the tree.
I also took the ripe cacao fruits with a bamboo pole. In the photo I added, you can see only one cacao, even though I harvested two cacao fruits. It's because their shape looks the same, so I'm just focusing on showing you one piece of cacao.
The color is really beautiful! Against the backdrop of a dazzling sky, the ripe cacao fruit manages to exude many good things to look at and keep in memory. Do you like this photo of ripe cacao?
Enjoying Cacao Fruits Like Eating Candy
In order to enjoy cacao fruits, I have to break them first, to enjoy the fruit flesh that sticks to the cacao seeds.
I just need to bang the cacao fruits on the cacao tree trunk. Then visible cracks in the skin of the cacao fruit.
How to enjoy cacao fruits, we simply eat the flesh of the fruit like eating candy, which is eating the white cacao flesh and sticking to the seeds. The most important thing to remember is to be careful not to ingest the seeds. The texture of cacao seeds is very slippery.
The cacao flesh taste is sweet and refreshing with a slightly sour taste. But the dominant taste is still sweet. While eating cacao flesh, I remember that my late father broke the cacao skin for me. I miss him so much.
Have you ever eaten fresh cacao fruits? Well, this is the first time I eat fresh cacao fruits again, after decades since I was little.
Collecting The Seeds To Earn Money
Don't throw away the cacao seeds after enjoying the cacao flesh. I collect the seeds, and then later dry them in the sun to dry.
Dried cacao seeds can be sold at quite expensive prices in my area. Later, the dried cacao seeds will be processed to make cocoa powder, for drinks and food. So you have nothing to lose, enjoy cacao fruit and then you can make money. It's worth being grateful for ❤️❤️❤️
That was the happy story of me being able to enjoy fresh cacao fruits from the garden. I can enjoy longing with my late father while eating fresh sweet and fresh cacao fruits. I hope you guys enjoy the photo content from today's garden! Have a great day!
