Takeaway Sushi and Rice
Do you guys like little sushi? Sushi isn't the type of food I choose to like, but at least there's still plenty of sushi to choose from. It taught me that there is nothing in this world that we absolutely hate. There is always a side that we can trust to make us enjoy it.
This time I want to share about the food I ordered by takeaway from an online food ordering application. Sushi Me looks interesting to choose from. They are also quite strong in branding, especially with the tagline and packaging they use.
I'm not a sushi fan, but the brand managed to make me Sushi Me enjoy their sushi variants. I choose menus that are safe for me. How do I do that? I choose menus with ingredients that don't expose too much raw fish.
With the right choice of sauce, it will also help me to enjoy sushi that is more comfortable on my tongue. Luckily, Sushi Me offers a wide menu with a choice of delicious sauces and is friendly on the tongue of people who are not sushi lovers, but want to just try sushi.
Best of all, Sushi Me provides a mini menu as a way to try it out for shoppers who aren't sure if they'll like it or not.
Let's see what menus I ordered, and these menus have succeeded in making me find comfort in the type of food that was not my previous favorite type.
THE PACKAGING
In the takeaway era, which is popular because it reduces dine-in activity, food packaging is an important thing. It will also show the professionalism of the brand.
I'm glad Sushi Me has such an interesting way of packaging their food. For sushi, it is packed in a box made of thick paper. They also added an interesting slogan: ”ENAK GAK HARUS MAHAL (Yummy Taste Doesn't Have to Be Expensive)” which means they want to offer sushi menus that have affordable prices, with a taste that is of course delicious and comfortable for the local people's tongue.
The rice menu, it is packaged in a container that uses a neat lid to maintain the durability of the shape of the menu itself, and also to keep the heat of the food longer.
For sushi and wasabi sauce, as well as chili flakes, all of these are served in separate clean, and tidy plastic containers. So you don't have to worry about part of the sauce and others spilling from the packaging when you place your takeaway order.
SALMON MENTAI ABURI ROLL
To be honest, I never allow myself to feel nauseous again when I eat salmon with sushi. However, this time, of course, it was a different case.
I'm on a diet program to increase my intake of salmon and avocado. So, this time I chose the sushi and rice menu which has salmon and avocado as the ingredients.
For the first menu, I chose Salmon Mentai Aburi Roll with a mini portion. Consisting of Japanese rice, tuna, and salmon that use "mentai" sauce and sprinkled with chili flakes as a topping.
Since it uses chili flakes, it helps my tongue to smack the part of the salmon. The spicy taste is quite helpful for the Salmon Mentai Aburi Roll menu that I can accept well on my tongue. It was pretty good though not my favorite.
SALMON AVOCADO MENTAI RICE
I have fallen in love with mentai sauce. So for the rice menu, I chose ”Salmon Avocado Mentai Rice”. This menu includes everything I need this time. At least, I want more Salmon and avocado ingredients for an eating program that I live.
So, let me be honest with you guys. This is a heavenly taste! In fact, this menu is one of my favorites. With mentai sauce, all the ingredients are wrapped perfectly until it reaches my tongue!
The sensation of eating avocado mixed with Japanese rice and salmon served with sauce is one thing I like. That's perfect! This is a must-try menu from Sushi Me.
KANI TEMPURA SPICY MAYO
The last one check! I chose the menu ”Kani Tempura Spicy Mayo”. This is also one of my favorites because of the sauce, the combination of mayonnaise, and other ingredients that taste just right. Yummy!
With Japanese rice stuffing, Kani/crab stick tempura, and nori, it was enough to satisfy me. This variety of sushi, it is suitable for tongues that cannot accept salmon. Quite recommended.
I am very happy to enjoy the sushi and rice dish from Sushi Me. Another fact, a bit difficult to order their menus. Available only a few hours a day, and available from 12 noon.
Sushi Me is one of the local sushi brands in my city that doesn't disappoint my taste buds, even though I'm not a sushi lover. With new sensory experiences, it's nice that we can get new things, without us hating those things. Instead, we enjoy it with satisfaction.
